I have not seen II1, got very attached to II2 and karunya and was dissappointed when he lost despite being the best, and now am having fun cos am very impersonal here for the II3. Its clear what and how people vote, beginning all they want is dancing and performance and thats what is being voted for and in the end they will vote for someone who has clout and sets up voting booths like with Sandeep who is an average singer. So instead of fretting and fuming this time, am having fun 'cos am quite detached and do not care who wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try this approach!

I will try that approach. Actually, I've been feeling the same way lately but Amit and Deepali sang so well on Friday that I am starting to care "a little" now.

i can't help myself from caring. Each week i worry about Amit, Prashant and Deepali. It's so silly i know but i can't help it. And when i get bad news i'm all worked up. I don't think i can detache my self now, maybe in the agla idol season.

Last season, I cared a lot. 😊
After seeing the past voting trends, I hope I'll care less this year. I won't be surprised if good singers leave at the cost of mediocre ones.

I guess your right, being detached is the best. I did care a lot about Amey and Karunya last time- wanted to see a rocking final between them, but didn't happen. This year I have 5 favourites- Amit, Deepali, Ankita, Emon, and Chang. But with the voting, it seems like the one who performs better wins irrespective of mediocre singing, and with the judges praising Ankita's performance everytime, it seems like she's going to win.

I do agree with all of you; no singer still has got to karunya's level as of today. I mean he is a flawless singer and always got good comments from judges. But see who won the INDIAN IDOL; baysura sandeep. I am sorry I never liked Sandeep. Don't get offended. 😉

I was and am die hard fan of Amey....when he was voted out I cried for many days. This year I have few favourites but am not attached to them with the fanatism which I had (and still have) for amey.

thank god, another crazy Amey fan like me! i absolutely loved amey... brilliant singer, and i felt he could give karunya a run for his money.. i totally agree with you.. i do have a few favourites, but ive just lost interest in this show, because the level and standard has just gone down completely... even people who got voted out in II2, like meenal, amey, were better than probably the best singer in II3. and while i love chang, deepali, amit etc.. i really hope that emon is the winner, because he is easily the best, most experienced singer. i don't particularly love him or anything, but with this lot of contestants, he's by far the best. lol sorry i kinda got carried away.. and i totally agree with the topic starter.. im watching II3 only for laughs.. to see the judges overpraise people who wouldn't have even made it to the piano rounds in II2! ahh.. oh well.. sorry if i offended anyone, not my motive.. just so frustrated with this year's contestants (and judges).. k im out

I tried to stop caring after Rahul Saxena and Rahul Vaidya's ouster but failed. I felt heart-broken again after Karunya and Amey's ouster and almost stopped caring and didn't even follow II3 from the start but incidentally caught glimpses of a piano round performance on my TV screen, got hooked and went back to watch whole II3 online from the scratch and here I'm caring again. Oh I know, Im a loser.

Though I've had a soft corner for chang since his auditions, I firmly believe its amit and deepali who deserve to be the top 2 and if emon comes back, he should complete the triangle. But alas, this is II which is the other name for heart-breaks!
