A semi hit is not a hit, not in my opinion anyway.

But it is a success...anything that is not a flop is...RR did great despite critics unfairly giving very bad reviews..see the same critics giving better reviews to Bang Bang which has no story plus bad direction...also it was Shahid's first movie as a masala hero...and he got a hero's welcome by Single Screen audience!...a success in all possible ways...😆

Still, a semi hit was and still isn't counted in an actor's list of successful films. That says something.

Plus, take the songs out of RR, and the film would've done worse than PPNH.

Whatever business this movie does it gets Shahid in more movies which is a good thing.
