BANG BANG IS TOTALLY PAISA VASOOL AND THE BEST ENTERTAINING FILM EVER đ„ł
I was supposed to watch the film today but I was way too excited and couldn't wait so I watched it yesterday when it premiered here in my city.
I paid 43 dollars for 2 tickets and after watching it I can totally say that it was worth it!
I have never enjoyed a film so much before, it is really entertaining. The length is fantastic, there is not even 1 moment where you feel bored or want to know what the time is. That's how much I enjoyed it.
First of all I would like to say that yes it is a remake of Knight & Day which is why they bought the rights of that film BUT like majority are saying Bang Bang is very much different, I would say 80% different! The characters, the relationships, the locations, action, romance, story and of course it got songs which totally makes it different than KAD!
1: Rajveer got more layers than Tom Cruise's character, he got an emotional story and that is the big difference between him and tom's characters.
2. Katrina's character is way more layered than Cameron's and they both totally different. Katrina comes from this simple city, middle class, got a normal job and is wearing normal clothes, her entry is properly her most "normal entry" no super star heroine, that came as a pleasant surprise. She develops through out the film. Cameron is not like that at all.
3: The relationships are truly different, first of all rajveer-harleen you would expect them to share raw intimate chemistry, lots of sex etc. but it's not like that at all. You can watch this film with your whole family and not be embarrassed! also katrina's story her parents have passed away she lives with her dadi and their relationship is so adorable, hrithik's relationship with his mom and dad. Sidharth has truly made this to a hardcore bollywood film. The way all these relationships are shown is amazing and in KAD there was no such relationships.
4: the locations are totally different, all indians must be proud of how India is shown especially Manali and Shimla wow I really want to visit those places, prague is beyond beautiful and Greece is heaven on earth, The islands of Thailand was so exotic and Dubai looks great. The cinematographer did a fantastic job with capturing all these locations.
5: What truly makes this film different than another action films is the fact that it got a story, there is a reason for why Hrithik is doing what he is doing, why the kohinoor gets stolen and I love how Katrina and Hrithik meeting each other is incoperated into the story. On the other hand KAD didn't have a story and there was no emotional connect like in BB.
Bang Bang is the best action film! way ahead of the Dhooms, Races, Krrishs, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick and the likes!
It got a story and it's full on entertainment in the form of action, romance, comedy and drama also!
The casting is spot on! Only Hrithik could play Rajveer, he suits the character to perfection, the action scenes and the emotional scenes are his best! Only Katrina could play Harleen, it was as if this character was written for her, the action and comedy scenes of her are the best!
The audience truly loved each comic scene of Katrina, they were cracking up at all her funny scenes, she is so expressive in this film, her expressions are really adorable and her non-hindi accent is almost gone, she speaks fluent hindi and plays the role so convincingly! I could only see Harleen! She was too good in the introduction scenes played the girl next door role so perfectly then she meets "fake vicky" and becomes super hilarious, the date scene was so funny everyone was laughing. And then starts the dhamaka where she goes into a change and becomes this hyper fierce girl who suddenly has got lusts and kicking and killing people! She was too good with the action scenes she had gone the water sport stunt by her was amazing and the climax scene of Katrina in the plane was awesome everyone in the theatre clapped when she took the gun and went cray đ also in the scene when they were running from dubai and she is like all horny while hell is going on was so funny!
this is by far Katrina's best role, her comic timing is great, comedy is her strength and the action scenes of hers were fab! also I think that she has become better in the emotional scenes, that is her weakest point but I think she did really well with the emotional scenes here!
Hrithik's weakest point is comedy but Katrina did fulfill that department so that's fine, he was fantastic in the intense scenes that is his strength, especially when all the fire was going on in the plane he was so intense really amazing! I think it is one of his best performances and no actor can do action roles as good as Hrithik he truly sets the standards high with each action film!
the supporting cast were great, the villains were nice but my favorite from supporting cast was Nani super cute, her scenes with katrina were really adorable!
the action is path breaking for a hindi film! the water sport stunts, the car chase scenes in india especially on the high way, the bike scene in dubai. It's really set the standards high. Andy Armstrong has created some amazing sequences.
I am really glad that we for once got a bollywood film with just 3 songs. it was spot on, my favorite is uff! katrina's best song, such a fun number and she was so expressive and looked heavenly!
Tu Meri is a song which is differently shot, you need to see the full version to see how amazingly it's shot, the last bit when hrithik-katrina are on stage and the background dancers are surrounding them was my favorite !
Meherbaan is a dream sequence and it's basically a song with greek god and greek goddess in heaven = drooling non-stop ! and omg I screamed FASHION po*n I want all the outfits
People sat till Bang Bang title track was over, the choreography is really unique and interesting, the best dance number of the year.
AND OMG PRAGUE ^_^ the part before and after meherbaan, katrina looks so chic in the yellow dress!
and the KISS was so hot! these two make the most sizzling pairing ever, hottest couple, and even in the most simple scenes they ooze chemistry without touching, without saying sexy dialogues, their chemistry is perfect, they better sign a new film together they too good !

the styling of both katrina and hrithik are too good, most stylish film ever.
I am going to watch Bang Bang again today! truly enjoyed it especially because of katrina and hritthik, their characters are really well written and they take the film so much higher, the action, romance and comedy scenes totally stays with you! My only complain is that I wish the dialogues were stronger, the dialogues were fine but there wasn't any dramatic dialogues but katrina and hrithik made the scenes memorable even though the dialogues were not fantastic!
and it's so refreshing to see an action film from the actress point of view! Katrina had a really strong character, this is her best performance, I am so proud of her! Kudos to Hrithik for being so confident that he does sign films where his co-stars have equal parts!
