The serial is suspect in its purpose. They have designed villains with great care, cast solid actoes in those roles, given them specific style, written them with definite background. They almost glorify evil.
Sakshi atleast showed remorse at times. But Shaurya didn't even do that.
I don't think evil has upper hand here all the time. Durga took down Mathur, Pandit, Ganguly, commissioner, caused rift between Sakshi and Raima, rift between Rajnath and Sakshi and for a while mistrust between Sakshi and Shaurya. She have huge blows to Shaurya by exposing his fake degree and paralysing him.
So Sakshi would have kept silent like a sitting duck?
It was Durga having one up earlier. Now it's Sakshi.
The Goenkas have been shown to be like Ambanis of Kolkata. They influence everything. And fact is that the uber rich and powerful do have police, politicians, goons, media etc in their pockets in India. Their portrayal is already a joke as Rajnath is giving Dayal too much leeway over just a deal. But they can't be shown so easily defeated or easy to tackle.
Villains always grow and cross limits till a chink in armour ruins them. It happens everywhere be it movies or comics. I feel it is same here.
No one claps in honour of Sakshi. It is just Simone's portrayal that is praised. And Sakshi is funny with her sarcasm and wit. Kind of like how Gabbar and Mogambo became the most popular characters from Sholay and Mr India.
Sakshi is really alert and intelligent. Too bad it is used in wrong direction.
Rajnath is also evil only. Infact a chhupa rustam and worse than Sakshi if he gets dirty. He was equally spoiling Shaurya, laughing over his womanising ways, paying off witnesses in rape case.
I do want to see more of his role.
I guess makers have gotten carried away seeing popularity of Sakshi. And Shaurya. That so much focus is on them.
I would have liked to see a movement against Goenkas like Jessica Lall case and not the underhand tricks that Durga plays.
But the show has poison cuts poison theme. Hence badass things everywhere.
