But coming back to the serial, No doubt this Birbal looks confident in terms of his acting abilities - But this is THE worst character assassination of Navratnas so far. Tansen is such a great and they have reduced both to this level of Koundamani- Senthil comedy (Those, who are tamil can follow this). We only need a Kovai sarala - Oh !! We do have one in Birbal's wife 😉

Undoubtedly jaya. Birbal's character assassination is the worst. Birbal looked plain and dark but not ugly and repulsive. And this chap can't walk or talk decently. And his accent...ughh...esp when he says sehensah!🤢 Did two courtiers fight like this in the Emperor's court and the Emperor of Hindustan was actually amused?!😡 That too the likes of Tansen and Birbal? Without any court decorum? If two lawyers squibbed so even in a suburban court, the judge would give them a warning.

Post Adham death track, except for a few sparse shots of brilliance, Rajat has not got this asattu ammanji look most of the times( Again a Tambram phrase). Even in court his dialogues are pathetic, to say the least. He is truly now playing a husband or a on-looker in a SBS. What a tragedy !!! At times I feel either it is strong disinterest from his side, or the mediocrity from the other side is rubbing on him slowly - It does happen everywhere and to everyone, that when you are surrounded by below average performers, anyone's innate capabilities go down.

What happened to his bright silk robes during the first 80-90 episodes ? This week he gifted a necklace or whatever was that, given by one his subjects to Jodha Begum. 😭😭😭 .

There was a discussion yesterday on Ela's thread as to what the thing resembled. A necklace, a kamarband, or Krishna's mukut. It looked so cheap and so did the bag in which it was brought. Why does Jalal always bring things in these 'surukkupais'? The other day even the rattle for Mahtab. Such a cheaply painted rattle. Was this all that the Shahenshah-e-Hind could get for his wife and niece? Well, when he cannot afford dresses for himself, what can he for the others? The new green one that he had during the shamsheer practice session was so dull and awful.🤢

Don't get me started on his old dresses please... how much I wanted him in his light blue robes (during first holi) and the pink one (during his talks with Bharmal). The first one was whisked off by Salima during the Mirchi war (I hated her that day..😡) and the second one is lost.
