It's just not about having big names!
In the last 2-3 years the film world is seeing this trend of low budget movies doing well at the box office. The reason… could be innovative ideas and story plots or maybe the audience has had enough of those Masala films which have all the masala but the final preparation lacks taste. We found out 5 big Non-Masala films that would be coming up in the next year.
1. Taare Zameen Par

Though Aamir is being very hush hush about it, the story revolves around a dyslexic child and how they deal with him.
2. The Last Lear

Storyline: Bachchan plays a Shakespearean character who is out of work and finally when he gets something, it is that of a clown in a circus.

Aashayein tells the story of a compulsive gambler played by John who gambles his money and time away until one day he realizes that he has little time left to live though he has hit a jackpot. The film is all about hope and how this hope keeps a man alive till his last breadth.
