Did anyone notice. When Dev was putting sindoor and mangalsutra Durga was sitting on Dev's right side.
I believe as per Hindu marriage rituals the woman is always on man's left at the time of marriage rituals.
I have not seen any couple standing up after marriage with woman on right side. Even if I remember right the grihapravesh also was done with Durga on Dev's right( This I am not sure, but someone can confirm. Putting because Dev placed the ghatbandhan on Durga's left shoulder)
It's a very wrong ritual as per Hindu custom. I guess the photo of this marriage later might prove it to be fake as a normal pandit will never allow the woman to sit on right for sindoor and mangalsutra ritual.

LOL... true. Not only marriage but for every such ritual, husband will be on the right side while the wife will ne on the left side. 😆 Actually they are showing woman empowerment here where wife comes first.

As for the legality of the marriage. These days fake or real pandit hardly matters for you need to register the marriage anyways.😆

Since cults and culture differ everywhere, the law accepts the saat pheras as the uniform ritual that will decide the legality of a HIndu marriage. Aajkal uski bhi jarurat nahi. The new law asks to register your marriage to make it legal.

@dey the marriage will be legal, but someone observing the marriage might understand something wrong with it.😆😆
And Sakshi she has hawk's eye, she had even recognized the shrad mantras. So a question will come on the pandit.
And we know pandit is an actor 😆😆😆

@flamenco the actor was asked to do all rituals properly so that no one suspects it to be a fake marriage.
But this guy has goofed it up which someone will notice sooner or later as no actual pandit will do such thing and wonder how a pandit allowed such a thing to happen
Durga and Dayal wanted to keep marriage as real , but this blunder in coming days will reveal it as fake one way or other.

even in Hindu marriage, there are some regional differences

As i observed tamil, kannada, rajasthani, gujarati weddings follow bride has to be right side

telugu, malayalam, punjabi, marathi, hindi follow girl to be on left side

again many diffs in marriage rituals

dont know abt bengali wedding..perhaps it may be girl right to boy

Generally women do sit in the left side as per the Hindu custom. This is why dhaga or roli or even rakhi is tied on the left hand if she is a woman and in the right hand if he is a man.
If you observe carefully Shiv- Parvati, Ram - Sita, Radha- Krishna and all other gods and goddess follow this format.

But then there can be cultural differences for sure.
