**Deivamagal Chronicles 22 - Double Edition**

There is not much development in the story this week. The standoff between Sathya and Prakash continues. It is first his parents who inadvertently prevent their reunion. They insist Prakash should apologize to his wife first. But as it doesnot seem coming, Sathya asks them to stop boycotting him. She assures them though it is difficult for Prakash to acknowledge his mistake, things would become slowly alright. Meanwhile Ekambaram and the contractor, unable to see Prakash softening his stand for Sathya brainwash him. All the dissipated anger once again builds up inside Prakash and he ends up asking Sathya to sign the divorce papers once again. He makes it clear that he is tolerating her presence inside JHV only for his mother's sake.

Moorthy in an inebriated state tells Sathya how the wedding of Suresh with Sowmya did not materialize because of Sujatha. Sathya is upset and slaps Moorthy.

Dharani shows her anger to Sujatha for bringing dishonor to the family. But her father-in-law clarifies that Annapoorani and Karthik had earlier met him at Shampoornam's house and explained in detail how AP and Sujatha had concocted the story about Sujatha and Karthik's relationship. Though it was shameful to make up such a story, they had to do it to stop Suresh's marriage. Dharani is overwhelmed by Sujatha's selfless act and she seeks her forgiveness. Although no one is eavesdropping on them at that point, Saroja later becomes suspicious as she sees her daughter and daughter-in-law in amicable situation.

Sathya learns about Sujatha/Dharani matter from her mother. She later apologizes to Moorthy for slapping him.

Meanwhile Prakash and Ashok intercept Vasanth who is proceeding to apologize to Ragini. Prakash accepts his apology and gives him some advice. Usha Rani who is a mute spectator to this incident,wishes to give her son Vasanth, another chance and so she takes him home.

Summary 22nd-29th September 2014

Ashok takes Prakash home. Ashok's mother offers the food given to her secretly by Sampoornam to Prakash. But Prakash finds out the truth and throws the food plate before his mother-in-law and Dharani. He has still not forgiven them and curses that Dharani would never unite with her husband.

A suspicious Saroja takes Sujatha for kanni poojai'. Sujatha does the poojai, without thinking. When Saroja confronts her asking didn't she lie about her pregnancy because she told the priest that she was a virgin. Sujatha says she lied to the priest and manages the situation, much to the relief of Devaraj, AP and Karthik.

Ashok brings to JHV another friend Siva to see Prakash. Siva's wife has had a miscarriage. On seeing Siva speak so proudly about his wife, Prakash's ego gets a dent. Siva advises Prakash to reconcile with Sathya. Shortly Thilaga has a false pain and Prakash rushes to her help. She is admitted in the same hospital where Suresh brings Dharani for her gynecology problem. Dharani rushes to Thilaga and Prakash, but Prakash scolds her and chases her out.

The doctor is surprised to see that Suresh and Dharani have not consummated their marriage even after one year. Dharani takes the blame and saves Suresh from embarrassment. Thilaga is also discharged and enroute to their house, they stop by a departmental store. They discuss loudly about Dharani in public and are promptly overheard by Saroja. She finds out that Dharani was held in a brothel.

She immediately rushes home and in the presence of AP and Sampoornam throws Dharani out. She shouts that the reputation of the house is down the docks because of Dharani. She maintains that Prakash told her about Dharani in person. But Suresh saves the situation, by announcing that Dharani might have stayed there, but nothing happened to her and the proof was given by the gynecology doctor. The crowd disperses and Dharani goes inside the house.

Vasanth is seen trying hard to get back in to the good books of his family members. UshaRani does not trust him completely, but continues to give him his chance. At college Vasanth's friends teases Ragini and Vasanth fights with his friends with whom he had hatched the kidnap plan. They thrash him. Ragini feels sorry for Vasanth.

Gayathri, who was missing in action for long, bribes Moorthy to talk ill about Sathya and infuriate Prakash more. But it turns out that Siva's and Thilaga's words of advice had an effect on Prakash. He feels bad for Sathya and Dharani and thrashes Moorthy. Moorthy confesses it was Gayathri's plan to separate them. Prakash confronts Gayathri and challenges her. He plans to apologize to Sathya in the morning.

Meanwhile Sampoornam is lamenting about Prakash to Ashok's mother. Anjali calls up Sathya and conveys the same. Sathya calls up Dharani, who also confirms that Prakash had earlier badmouthed them. Morning time, Gayathri and Vinodhini brainwash Sathya against Prakash.
