DK trully Dushyant ...

Just finished reading the update of 26th Sept, where DK leaves Disha at the wedding mandap and leaves Disha cursed not married and not single. Letting Disha believe she spent the the previous night with DK.

This reminds me of the story of King Dushyant and Shakuntala. This is a play of Kalidas. For the ones that don't know the story. King Dushyant went to hunt in the forest and meets a fair maiden named Shakuntala. She is the daughter of apsara Menaka and sage Vishwamitra, but raised by sage Kanva among the living in the forest. When her father Kanva was away, king Dushyant marries and consumated his marriage with Shakuntala. Then he returns to his kingdom and promises Shakuntala to return and bring her along as his wife. He gifts her his ring. Shakuntala is lost in his thoughts and sage ... ( forgot his name) cursed her "The one she is thinking about will forget about her". Shakuntala finds out she is pregnant and visits the king. Dushyant does not remember her and Shakuntala leaves. She give birth to a son names Bharat.

The storylines of this play and Tumhari Disha are almost the same, only the times are different and TD has a lot more characters.

Just wanted to share my thoughts with you all.

I noticed the topic of Samy about getting to know the members of TD is gone. Where did it go??

quite similar. they could have at least changed the name. use some other name, not Dushyant. TD is also similar to Piya Ka Ghar. these people lack ideas, creativity, originality etc.

maybe people should consider "protecting their work" - copyright. they should hold copyright for their work. copycats should be sued (for breach of copyright). only then we will see/read something new.

Disha getting pregnant.
Suhaas or better yet Sukanya, Sanya and Rano throwing Disha out of Bhonsale house.
Disha finding out she is pregnant.
DK is in his fathers position: married to on woman who he hates and living with an other woman who he loves and has a kid with. DK 'marries' Disha, who he hates and lives with Maheka and Arooh.
Pori comes back and Vedant and Gargi the threesome confess everything.
DK brings back Disha who has a son.
DK dies and leaves Maheka and Disha to fight over Kanaka Empire. When Arroh and Disha's son are adults, they fight and plot murder over Kanaka Empire!!! 😉

no way kiran take my word disha will have a daughter
no son if son is born he will be kidnapped orkilled if girl she will survive

kiran.......now that u've mentioned it the storyline is indeed similiar.......

i think they borrow heavily from history and fables...

silk it is a unwritten rule in teell world if its dughter then she will stay with the lead lady character to cry in future
sons are brought to be killed or kidanpped in their childhood
