Kiran well said its all about the history of shakuntala

I sincerely want to say let the television dept bann the daily soaps n they can sponsor only limited episodes as they were programmed 10 years before just 26 episodes like that. Those days were golden days when doordarshan was ruling. After these channels came the whole media have changed n they r going on story line which is illogical n also i must say onething by seeing these daily soaps some of the women r also turning negative in their real life. Its all media affect yaar.

I really wonder we r fools to watch these channels n become like crazy over it n we r doing injustice to doordarshan which shows nice programs i must say they r much better than these other channel sops

The storyline continues .... king Dushyant gave his royal ring to Shakuntala as a symbol of his love. On her way to the king Dushyant Shakuntala lost his ring when she was taking a bath in the river.
Years later in the kingdom of king Dushyant, after Shakuntala left the palace of king Dushyant in shame, a fisherman caught a fish. When he opened the fish he found the royal ring. This ring was brought to the king and when king Dushyant saw the ring he remembered everything. He realised the mistake he made by not accepting Shakuntala. King Dushyant search across his kingdom but never found Shakuntala. Untill one day while hunting he saw a 5 year old boy who was playing with lions and baby lions. The boy was opening the mouth of the lions just to count their theet. The king approached the boy and asked who is the brave boy? The boy answered he is Bharat, son of king Dushyant.

According to this story the ring was the turning point as Dushyant remembered Shakuntala. What will be Dushyant Kumar (DK) turning point? What will be the 'ring' in this story of TD?

Love to read your idea's about this 😛

The kid was known as Sarvadaman. It is also said that when Dushyant met the kid in the jungle, the god asked Dushyant to accept the child and wife Shakuntala and the god named the child as Bharat (named after India later and his followers are called Bharatvashi).

MahaBharat starts from where the story of Dushyant and Shakuntala ends..

Shantanu is either son or grand son of Bharat, he marries Ganga (river) She kills their seven sons, who are incarnations of the Vasus. He stops her from killing the 8th son, who became Bhishma.

Satyavati, daughter of a fisherman, has a son, Vyasa(Vyasa is the narrator.) Satyavati marries King Santanu - their son is Vicitravirya. Bhishma renounces his right to the throne and swears never to marry and that he will defend Vicitravirya and his heirs.

Bhishma negotiates to get wives for Vicitravirya: Amba, Ambika and Ambalika. Amba refuses. Vicitravirya dies young. Ambika and Ambalika have children by Vyasa: Dhritarashtra and Pandu. Amba later is transformed into Shikhandi, a male but impotent warrior, who becomes the reason behind Bhisma's death.

Dhritarashtra is blind and so the second son, Pandu, is King. Kunti TRIES out a mantra that calls the Sun to be her lover, and has a child by him, Karna, who she sets adrift on a river. Karna was born wearing armor and earrings that are part of his body. King Pandu marries Kunti and another wife, Madri who give birth to pandavas.

Dhritarashtra marries Gandhari who give birth to 100 sons and a daughter (who married Jayadrath.. )

isn't it more fun to read that Tumhari Disha updates?? :)

thanks for the story ... and ur right its very similar to td ... its too obvious that almighty guhas are the almighty copy cats of telly wood .... and as like the story of king dushyant ... our dk will get to know the truth too late maybe after dishs remarriage ... since remarriages are in fashion in tellwood nowadays... we have to wait for the leap ...

my mom has started cursing dk ... after i told her how dk behaves with dish at the mandap 😆...she is so sweet

love, sakina
