New TC Article: AS's Wife 'overjoyed' with Ashish Sharma's JDJ Victory

Ashish Sharma has finally achieved what he had aspired for!! The hard-working actor who was literally a non-dancer worked his way up and won the coveted title of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors.

His dutiful wife Archana Taide who had been maintaining a low-profile until his victory (unlike many wives who grab all limelight), threw a party to celebrate her husband's victory.

The occasion was even more pleasant for Archana as Ashish was declared the winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa right on her mother's birthday!!

So the actress wife called in for a double celebration and invited close friends and well-wishers who had wished and prayed for Ashish's victory.

Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Archana who shared her happiness and excitement saying, "It feels great. Finally Ashish's hard work, sincerity, dedication has paid off. My faith in God has become stronger. He sits up there and watches everything. If one works hard, gives his hundred percent, God definitely gives you what you deserve. And the most important thing is that Janta hai toh actor hai'. Their love for Ashish has made this victory possible."

On the double whammy celebration that Archana organized, she stated, "Haha, yes I did that. Everything was planned at the last minute. Honestly, I was not expecting him to win; I don't know as I was too scared. The results were out in the midnight and it was my mom's birthday on the same day. So we clubbed both the occasions and had a great wild party."

When asked about her decision to purposely stay away from limelight in order to be the perfect wife for Ashish, when he was toiling hard managing his schedules, the happy wife said, "It was my call of not taking up any project because I knew what Ashish was getting into. 18-20 hours of hectic schedule is not easy to manage. Hence I wanted to be at home to take care of him. I did not want Ashish to come back to an empty house after such a hectic schedule. One needs personal comfort. Physically his body had started to give up, but Ashish is a fighter, and never once did he crib about it. He just kept working sincerely. And today he is a winner, and it's just like Wow'..."

So now that the task of winning Jhalak is accomplished, what are the plans for the couple? Archana listed out details, "A world tour awaits us (smiles). A road trip to Jaipur in XUV 500 as it is Maa's birthday. We had mutually decided that if we win the competition, then the car will be Maa's birthday gift, because whatever we are today is all because of them. I was also handling my production house in these 4 months. Now we plan to venture into Hindi GEC. Shifting to our new house is also another task in the pipeline that we need to do as a couple."
