Alia Bhatt Il romance with Dhanush in Mani Ratnam's Movie

Last month, BizAsia had reported that filmmaker Mani Ratnam was all set to direct Alia Bhatt in his upcoming film. News is now doing the rounds that the actress will be paired opposite Rajnikanth's son-in-law, Dhanush, in the film.

The film is apparently an intense love story. It is said that both Dhanush and Bhatt fell in love with the script after the first narration itself and are very excited to start work on the project.

Ratnam's last release in Bollywood was the Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer, Raavan' (2010), which failed to live up to expectations at the box office.
