A Balaji Fetish

Yesterday I decided to watch all the Balaji shows. Started with Karam Apna Apna at 8 with two wives squabbling over one Yash Tonk. 😕 At 8:30 Kasauti followed with an unbelieavably young looking grandmother who has an old lover with a new face and a red beard 😆 still secretly lusting for her. This was followed by our very own KS at 9 with the same old theme of 2 sisters and one man, two senior citizens craving the same woman, a 'now you see me now you don't' RK and a glimpse of two very sweet kids. As usual the same crappy story, not worth a comment. A new serial called Kasturi followed with a overly pancaked heroine constantly crying and a frightening looking vamp screaming blue murder like a banshee. She made Psycho Pia look like a princess in comparison. This was followed by Ekta's showstoppers. In KGGK two kids were tied up and being threatened of being ripped apart by two salivating dogs. Finally in Kyunki, Ekta's pride A sister was cavorting in a bathtub with her brother in law. All in all an evening of wholesome family entertainment. I noticed a few common factors-

1. All the male protagonists are reduced to ineffective wimps.

2. All the female protagonists suffer endlessly beyond human limits.

3. Ekta is fascinated with the semi incestuous twist of two sisters and one man.

4. Good is always at the bottom of the heap with evil having a blast endlessly. Ekta says she exaggerates evil to accentuate good. Somehow I got the message that it makes more sense to be negative.

5. Thanx to all of us constantly yelling she hasn't shown JP in a tub as yet. But who knows what the future will hold. After all most of the hardcore JBians have given up on this show.

unfortunatly i saw KSBKBT yesterday for RK and wat i got bathtub scene.Bhoomi called her mother 'mistress'
i wonder that Ekta's masses actually like those kind of scenes,craps. 😕

but how can you think about no.5 option.

LMAO you really watched them all i was gonna attempt thtat thought forget it good observation..i guess every show has its good and bad points.

You know what considering i have seen like 5 k shows 3 of which on zee (koshish, kohi apna sa, kasamh se, kayamath , kahin tu hoga) to date i still do not see big similaritys in teh shows little yes which theres bound to be...

what i found it different storys and loveable ones well apart from kahin tu hoga 😕 great actors and you know what i loved balaji shows even before i knew about company or ekta so i cannot say alot 😆 ..

They still get trps guess when they go down i can say the audience hating them since that shows whether audience watching them or not..also when people stop talking about actors in their shows...infact most actors i was thinking about started in balaji shows years before what they doing now.

Theek bolechho...the women are either too good or too bad, nothing in between. The men often puppets in hands of these women, they are supposed to be successful businessmen otherwise but somehow they fail to understand these scheming women...I sometimes wonder that she should get a new set of creatives...I hear she pays well, she can advertise in this forum...there are such good writers here, I think they will do a better job...what say? 😉 Tin
