Birthday Special: Hi Five Sanaya

Posted by Sushma Shrestha On September 16, 2014

The gorgeous diva, extremely talented and excellent actress of Indian Tellywood, Sanaya Irani celebrates her 31st birthday today. On the glorious occasion, Just Showbiz brings you her top five television characters. Let's have a look at High Five Sanaya - back down the memory lane of the remarkable performances by her so far, that led to her becoming one of the leading actresses on small screen and also achieved her the crownof Queen of Romance.

1. Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?) : Undoubtedly, the number one in the list of best has to be Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada from one of the massive hits and most epic romance sagas on small screen of all times, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? by 4 Lions films with Star network. Khushi was a major breakthrough for Sanaya and also her firstsolo female lead in a show; meanwhile, she carried off the character of the bubbly, chirpy yet emotional and strong headed girl fluently with natural ease making the character look real. Khushi is personally closest to Sanayaamong all her performances and Iss Pyaar Ko... her best show which won her the tag of Dhak Dhak Irani by fans. Moreover, the show gave the most iconic chemistry to Indian television as Sanaya's pairing with heartthorbBarun Sobti is considered as unmatchable, magical and perfect as SRK-Kajol of Bollywood and is appreciated by the actressherself and still is in frenzy amongst millions of fans worldwide even after two years of the show's end.

2.Parvati Pratap Ranawat (RangRasiya) : Sanaya Irani is super confident about her ability and loves to challenge herself. Another much challenging role for her and yet again an intense romantic story post Iss Pyaar Ko..., but Sanaya'sonscreen character in Saurabh Tiwari's Rangrasiya with Colors network had a role that varied from Khushi. Parvati Pratap Ranawat aka Paro, the character of a subdued, shy and soft spoken village girl turned a mature woman in love, the role was one tough nut to crack for the actress after Khushi. Still, yet again she proved her talent by getting into the skin ofcharacter in a short span of time and picking it up very well. Her chemistry with co-starAshish Sharma is sizzling and even though the character of Paro got killed abruptly and unoriginally, the effect of her is still persistent in fans' hearts; much credit to Sanaya Irani. The show currently in the last week of its run achieved much love from millions of fans and counts as one of the best romantic love stories with a highly promising initial storyline based on Guns and Roses. So here it is, Parvati of Rangrasiya makes second best by Sanaya in our Hi Five list.

3. Gunjan Bhushan (Miley Jab Hum Tum) :Gunjan wasSanaya'sthird role on TV, interestingly, also makes third in our High Five List. Though her third role, Gunjan wasSanaya's first lead role in parallel with another talent treasure Rati Pandey. Gunjan'scharacter can be related to Parvati to the extent she was timid, subdued and soft spoken but on the other hand Gunjan was educated and sophisticated. The show madeSanaya popular amongst youngsters and her romantic portrayal opened the gateway for her to further romantic roles and exploring the genre more.

4. Sameera Shroff (Left Right Left) : Here comes in our list at number four, Sanaya'sdebut show Left Right Left and her character of a cadet named Sameera Shroff. The first season of the show is one of the best youth based shows, the concept considered unique and critically good for Indian TV. ThoughSanaya joined in the second season only and was portraying one of the seven leads, her performance was appreciated well throughout the show. Looking back at the time, Sameera Shroff speaks of versatility and acting efficiency of the actress.

5. Chanchan Sarabhai Borisagar (Chanchan) : Optimystix Productions' much hyped project Chanchan, though didn't impress audiences,Sanaya's portrayal of a modern, educated and easy going girl Chanchan achieved her much appreciation from fans. Sanaya also loved thecharacter as Chanchan was the almost like her real self and she played the charactersatisfactorily. Thus, the character makes number five in our list.

Besides, Sanaya has also tried negative role in Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi as Sanaya, before doing Miley Jab Hum Tum and is currently seen as Myra , a look alike of Parvati in Rangrasiya; both performed well. Coincidently, she has done seven roles in the seven years of her TV career, each of them speaking of her understanding of acting, her versatility and prolific calibre. We hope the upcoming years will bring more of deserved achievements to the beautiful, charming, adorable and very praiseworthy Sanaya Irani. Here's wishing a heartfelt Happy Birthday to the Dhak Dhak girl of Indian Television.

Iranians! Wish your star here and don't forget to comment on your personal favourite bySanaya. Let's get bizzin!

TFS ... nice article. All her roles have been so different from each other, and she is yet to play the quintessential 'bahu' on TV ... quite an accomplishment, when she has done four leading roles already. Shows her versatility and her talent.

Wonderful article and thanks for sharing.

For me Parvati will be the best character ever played by Sanaya...

A character totally opposite to her real life personality. Dialect, body language, her village belle look, her eyes bringing in that innocense and mysticism to her character. Keeping that mischief look locked up during scenes and yet you see that mischievious side in every SBS segment...

When on screen she transformed herself and trascended into her character as Paro!

Playing such diverse roles speaks of her versatility and ability to get out of the cloak of one character and move onto the next.

I repeat again and again - if Khushi made me laugh PARO MADE ME PROUD!

Happy Birthday to one of the finest actors in the industry!

Stay Blessed always!

Happy Birthday Sanaya!!!

Sanaya is truly a versatile actress. I started watching IPKKND midway and instantly fell in love with her. She has this effervescent personality and such a happy smile that is so addictive that you too smile with her.

I am proud to be her fan.
