career after indian idol

hey, jus wondering wut's after indian idol ! i feel this contestants wont get better opportunity like da first indian idol ( abhijeet/ amit tandon ). first of ol....anu malik is undoubtedly out of business. he's nt gettin dat much contacts.....the industry is being ruled by Vishal -shekhar, HR ( bitter truth), SEL ( shankar -ehsan loy ) & pritam... it's less likely dat HR & vishal-shekhar wud let ii-3 contestants to sing for them coz they r da mentors of SRGMP n they wud always favor SRGMP contestants... pritam has his own singer's panel + there are lots of singers coming frm pakistan ( atif, mustafa zahid, zubeen garg) james ( bangladesh)...the industry is getting veryy competitive. these indian idol contestants r just ok but not dat good comparing to abjijeet. amit sana or evn karuniya... i strongly feel they r goin 2 struggle coz they r not exceptional, and there are other contests going around,,,, so many singers out there... .

so i ws wondering, is INDIA running out of singers ??? i believe its' just a show for SONY to earn money from SMS nothin else..... they cud hav been more selective with the judges.... they cud select judges who r more happening now a dayys.......

i do kind of agree with you. being on indian idol does not guarantee a career for you because there are 3 shows like this and each show has many singers. even when some of these people did get chances to sing like vineet, hemachandra, abhijeet sawant all were given a chance by HR but none of them got that much recognition. i don't think there is enough space for this many singers in the industry.

i know but anu malek do have a lot of contacts and films. he only works for good A grade films.

zubeen garg is from assam, not from pakistan

They will only do stage shows - None of the singers from any of the reality shows has made a mark in playback sionging - and I dont think they have the quality also - but anyways good for them - they can make money atleast from these shows - without these show they wud have been no one - atleast this gives them a temporary recognition
