Chronicles Of DM 21 : Athiradi Vettai Amaithiyanathu

Sathya, Usha Rani & her husband along with Vasanth's friends search for Ragini in their college. The friends put on a convincing show. When Usha Rani asks about the fifth friend, Chandru in their gang, the friends reply that he is in Trichy. They decide to split up and continue their pursuit. Sathya is very much worried as they are clueless. The first break through comes when Vasanth's gym instructor calls up UshaRani to enquire about her son's health. She finds out that Chandru is very much in town. She gets suspicious and calls up a policeman in the control room, who is known to her personally. With his help, she traces not only Chandru's but the other friends' location to an area in Perungalathur.

Having zeroed in on the location, they head towards Perungalathur and manage to locate the place. Ragini is saved safely. Usha Rani and her husband thrash the boys. The youngsters maintain that they did this for friendship and Vasanth had no hand in this. Satya decides against filing a complaint as this would attract the unnecessary attention of media. The boys are let off with stern warning. But Usha Rani later finds out that Vasanth was the mastermind behind Ragini's kidnap. The mother and sister give him their piece of mind.

Meanwhile Prabha accompanied by Thilaga, comes to JHV for sorting out the misunderstanding. Sathya and Ragini return back home. As usual Prakash, whose has 90% of his body weight in his head, shouts Sathya to leave the house. Usha Rani and her husband also arrive. She calmly explains all that happened and leaves after apologizing on behalf of the boys. Prakash is speechless and is put to shame by Thilaga, Kumar and Indian paatti.

Ashok and the other friends try to put some sense into Prakash. He returns home trying to patch up with his wife without as much as apologizing. But Mrs and Mr. Chidambaram do not want him to get away so easily, which only adds fuel to his anger. The only souls rejoicing in this fiery situation are Gayathri and Vinodhini.

The other search headed by Devaraj for Saroja is still on. It is Moorthy who becomes their savior. He inadvertently helps them locate Ganesh's location and Suresh-Sowmya wedding is stopped in the nick of time. Angry words fly across the room. But when it looks like the wedding would still take place, Sujatha drops the biggest bomb that she is carrying Karthik's child. Devaraj is heart broken as both his children have spoiled his reputation. Suresh is forced to call off his wedding with Sowmya, because AP threatens to call off the impending Suja-Karthik marriage. AP and Co take Suresh to Sampoornam's house and bring back Dharani. AP makes it clear to Saroja that she has not still forgiven her for cheating her and that her game has just begun. Suresh also makes it clear to Dharani that she is back in house not because he cares for her, but only to facilitate Sujatha's wedding.
