However, I just glanced at some posts about Jodha and her reaction.
There are 2 imp points I want to make
Firstly - if Jodha had given even a HINT to Jalal that she is feeling very sad and miserable about her decision - Jalal would have blown his top! He was in barely controlled rage since morning and IF Jodha had cried in front of him saying I am going to lose my one baby - Jalal might have gone to Ruk and tore the farman.
Jalal would have been upset at Jodha for doing this and upset with HIMSELF for letting her do this. So for his sake Jodha had to not show any emotions to Jalal.
Secondly - the ENTIRE Jodha Jalal scene had a DIFFERENT PURPOSE.
Jalal was upset about having made the decision and after the stunt Ruk pulled in DEK FIRST time his antenna went up ABOUT Ruk's motives. Before this Jalal had been caught up in Ruk's drama and GENUINELY seemed to have thought Ruk is craving a baby. This is WHY he went to Ruk's hojara to console her EVEN AFTER HIS PUBLIC INSULT by Ruk in DEK.
Jodha does not suspect a thing. She felt that if we are giving the baby let us do it fully. This legal thing is something Jodha did not understand cos SO FAR Jodha is thinking she will have full access to her baby - somewhat similar to she gets with Rahim. Jodha does not have rights over Rahim but she gets to love him like her own son with SB.
Jodha telling Jalal that since their babies would have called Ruk Badi Ammi why was she not satisfied was about Ruk wanting to feel it was HERS. This is the way Jodha saw it not suspecting a thing.
Next thing Jodha was trying to reassure Jalal was about Ruk being a good mother. IF JODHA HAD EVEN A DOUBT IN HER MIND THAT RUK WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF THE BABY SHE WOULD NOT HAVE AGREED.
So Jodha was telling Jalal Ruk will be good mother RUK WILL TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF THE BABY - THIS SENTENCE GOT JALAL THE BRAINWAVE and IMMEDIATELY after Jodha said this Jalal told her he needs to do something URGENTLY and WILL MEET HER LATER.
Jalal would have gone to HB told her of his plan that is why HB was there in Ruk's hojara - she did not go to confront Ruk but AS A WITNESS to the farman Jalal made Ruk give.
It does not matter whether Ruk mis-wrote - Marium uz Makani is the WITNESS and also the court clerk.
So the scene in Jalal's hojara WAS ONLY ABOUT talking about Ruk and by what Jodha said inadvertently JALAL GOT THE BRILLIANT idea of the farman from Ruk.
This is WHY THE SCENE WAS NOT ABOUT JODHA's FEELINGS FOR THE BABIES.
