Did u guys notice!

like in the first season abhijeet sawant won. his albums came out and he was pretty popular. but so was rahul vaidya and prajakta shukre. i think these people were more famous than abhijeet. and in the next season sandeep acharya won. same... one album came out. which was OKAY.but karunya got a song in the film which was a big hit. " aane char aane" from lage raho munna bhai. i mean like debujit for instance who won in sa re ga ma pa....was he that popullar as much as viniit...NO. viniit is still workin in films and i so far haven't heard mucha bout debujit. so i think that same will happen this time. the runner ups will get more attention then the winner 😆

hmm true....and suhit will get more attention then all of them..liek have u guys seen his scrapbook on orkut? It has waay more scrapz from fanz then the contestants still in and out...

I don't agree that Prajakta and Rahul got more fame the abhi but yes karunya did get more than sandeep. Anyway prajakta and rahul are no longer in media these days but Abhijeet is and he has sung in two films and more forthcoming and just released his new album. So I disagree on the first and third thing but do agree on the second.

How is suhit meant to be more popular than all the contestants? Just because someone made a scrapbook on him?

The winners are chosen by Democratic system (SMS/Phone,)which i feel is a very flawed system. in II2 Sandeep won coz he got tremendous votes from one particular region and same the case with Debojit.
In democratic elections one person is allowed only one vote, but in this system v hav multiple voting from one person (which is equivalent to Bogus voting or booth capturing)so it is actually making money out of sms than actually hunting for the best in the lot.

i completely agree...i wish the results of these shows were decided by a panel of judges (but with alisha this year that might not work either😉😆) instead of by public votes. or if public votes were to be used, it should be 1 person per vote...no multiple voting...but of course wat to the channel ppl care..they just want to make money off of the SMSs

well it's a business and the channel has to make some money, it's unfair of us to say, you give us the chance to become indian idol and give us a huge contract, make us populer all for free. If the channel didn't make money, there won't be an indian idol in the first place.
