Ok let us imagine a situation where we have not seen that Ruk is plotting all this for becoming a MUZ. We have not heard of her plans.
We were just shown that Ruk is feeling really sad cos she is going to face a barren woman's life with no child for no fault of hers. Ruk has seen that Jalal who said he has no heart found it for Jodha. Ruk has always wanted what Jodha has and now she sees Jodha is going to get 2 babies. So Ruk is asking for one baby. If this WAS GENUINE Ruk wanted baby for herself - would we think differently about Ruk?
Jalal and Jodha both gave Ruk a second chance after fake pregnancy. Jodha thought at that time that Ruk did this because she had fear of losing Jalal. After that Ruk has been nice and friendly to Jodha Mirchi war, Atifa track she has opened up to her confiding in Jodha. So IF Jodha is now thinking that Ruk has changed - Ruk has finally accepted that Jalal loves Jodha and her position in his life - would Jodha be wrong in thinking Ruk genuinely wants a baby?
Jalal and SB have known Ruk since childhood and if they BOTH are thinking that Ruk genuinely wants a baby then why would Jodha not think the same?
Jodha did not talk about Jalal in passing. She said HIS WORD HIS HONOR is most important to her. For a Rajvanshi given word vachan means everything. Jodha is wiling to die for Jalal and she will not stand to see him ridiculed and said he went back on his word. So Jalal's honor and word are most important to her.
So Jodha is getting swayed by COMBINATION of both the arguments that Jalal's honor must remain sacrosanct and Ruk deserves happiness.
Ruk is Jalal's first wife and his best friend - Jodha has always treated her with huge respect and never tried to take her position. Jodha got Jalal's heart which before he gave her he had not given anybody else. So Jodha did not take anything from anybody else. Jalal loves ONLY Jodha so she has a right to his love and she is his wife. Jodha has been the most loving loyal wife to Jalal. Jodha has also considered his every problem, his relationships as her own also. So if Ruk is Jalal's responsibility then Jodha also considers it hers.
Would Jalal ever want for Ruk to be unhappy? No never. So Jodha is also thinking of her happiness.
Jalal is absolutely right in HIS arguments. He wants the best mother for his babies and that can only be Jodha.
Jalal here has to consider 2 things. His actions will be watched as a Shehenshah and as a husband. Jalal gave the decision in DEK as a Shehenshah since he cannot ever want to see same thing happen in his awam.
What if someone claimed baby like this from a mother? Jalal cannot support this nor can Jodha. As a Shehenshah Jalal cannot be seen to do this.
Jalal as Jodha's husband stood by her and THEIR babies and he did not give in to Ruk's demand.
Jodha is thinking about Yashoda cos she thinks positive of everybody, even Ruk. She feels if Kanha can be raised by 2 mothers why not he baby? Ruk will be with her always and so will her baby if given to Ruk.
Jalal as husband stood by Jodha and his babies. Now it is Jodha who is going to stand by her husband the Shehenshah by seeing that he is seen to stand by HIS word HIS HONOR and not let it be said that his given word means nothing.
Ruk knew this she did tell Hoshiyaar that for Jodha - Jalal's honor his ijjat means more than any Audha so she will do this for Jalal's sake.
SB imagined a life if she did not have Rahim so she is also thinking Ruk is genuine.
Everybody is right from their own POV.
The problem here is ONLY Ruk. COs everybody else is wanting to see her happy, wanting to give her what she wants, Jalal even offered her a separate kingdom! Ruk only wants what Jodha has, what Jodha is going to get. For this she is going to use any foul means and manipulate the 2 people who actually want to see her happy and care for her. Who pardoned her crime trying to give her benefit of the doubt.
As they say about Karma - Ruk is going to pay for her actions, her karma is finally catching up to her!
Ruk is NOT a right mother for his babies so I hope now Jalal shows his Teda self and gets to the root of WHY suddenly Ruk has got maternal feelings!
Jalal should have been furious in rage against Ruk for humiliating him publicly, for causing dishonor to Shehenshah and his given word.
Why wasn't Jalal?
Either he believes Ruk is really desperate for a baby and has got taken in by her words - then HOW CAN JODHA OR SB not get taken in? After all Jalal knows Ruk best!
OR
Jalal has started doubting Ruk's intentions and he is trying to find out what HER game is?
Otherwise there was NO need for Jalal to go to Ruk's hojara to console her!
I must say Jalal forgave Ruk far too easily for HIS INSULTS IN DEK, when he raged against Jodha for saving a life and stopping him from committing a sin - while Ruk is ASKING HIM TO COMMIT A SIN!
Either Jalal is again TOO SOFT on Ruk like always š” OR he is doubting her. I would like to believe the later cos the former Jalal I HATE!
This was my yesterday's post - I do not think Jalal and Jodha should just agree meekly to Ruk. Jalal should know how audha obsessed Ruk is and he should put these conditions below if they agree to Ruk.
I want to see Jalal tell Ruk THEY are going to grant her wish, he should ask Ruk if he is fulfilling his farman/wish now. When Ruk says yes Jalal should say he is going to put 3 conditions and if Ruk agrees to them ONLY then she will get the baby.
Condition 1 -
Since Jodha is the one giving birth to babies the natural mother - ONLY Jodha can be MUZ. Ruk can NEVER lay a claim to MUZ title due to getting one of the babies.
Condition 2 -
Since small babies need their mother most, the baby will be with Jodha for 1 year and in that time Ruk will have to show her bonding with the baby by taking care of her and ONLY after 1 year of showing this satisfactorily can Ruk be given the baby.
Condition 3 -
Finally Jalal should take AWAY the 2nd farman wish still with Ruk saying since she has shown she cannot be trusted to use the wish wisely and with dignity using that wish has been taken away from her.
Since Ruk will have no face but to agree - this will make Jalal strong and not fall to her manipulations.
Ruk will be seen to be winning but will be the loser.
