Yet, it was a fashion event Salman Khan was in town for...
It's not every day that Salman Khan comes to Dubai and talks fashion. But Masala! got him to do so when he came to town today for a promotional event for the clothes brand, Splash
How much time do you spend on yourself? Do you groom yourself or you prefer simplicity?
I spend much time in the gym. I work hard for like 1.5 hours. And even then I make sure I look good in gym (laughs).
Do you believe in spending a lot on yourself when it comes to styling?
Not really, I am not someone who would buy expensive suits and stuff, I mean even now I've just worn a T-shirt and jeans and this is the look I like. I also like to wear a T-shirt with shorts and that's it. However, it's different if I am in a movie or something, I make sure I groom myself well.
Are you one always conscious of how you look?
I am a casual guy. I am never concerned with how I look and stuff. My team makes sure I look good but other than that, I like simplicity. I don't think much when it comes to fashion.
Tell us about the Being Human line, what's the next trend we see in it?
Jackets, auto wears and cool stuff around. Loads of accessories!
A Bollywood celebrity whose style you absolutely admire?
I think all the actors have a unique style of dressing and I adore each one of them!
Favourite designer?
None.
When you are in Dubai, you love to..
I love Dubai. Whenever I am here, I just want to relax and hang out.
Your favourite look from any of your movies?
I loved the look in Kick. I think the movie did great and people appreciated my style as well.
Have you always been a fashionista?
Never! I cannot keep up with fashion. I don't know why. Even now, I am just how I was years ago.
