He is extremely observant... not of the clothes/ hair style etc. like his collegue judge, but of every nuance in the singing. Each one of his comments on the singers were spot on. First one which comes to mind is Ankita, where he even noticed the slight tremble in her voice when she lost her balance for a split second...

I dont know if I will call him out of sur... he is not a trained singer and he has a very ** ahem ahem** distinctive style of singing, but he is a good Judge.

what are u talking about he has been music director for most of his life and he makes best singers of the bollywood industry sing on his ishare and u are saying that he is besura. he is there because he is talented if you know more about sur and taal than why dont u go there and judge people.......
