Then she went to coma and he was back as Devdas. ya, i agree - i don't think that if he had to get nandini back by dumping tanya just like that, it would be clean act of a person with a good conscience. which was actually the way it played out: in the end, karan-chachu couldn't dump tanya-mom... keeping karan-chachu on the good side. 😆

but before he involved tanya, was there ever a point at which nandini was clearly miserable with ansh, was clearly dying to be back with karan and karan actually tried to do things so that they could be together?

Yes he did. Given that his mother's wishes were otherwise ofcourse, oblivous of Ansh's manipulation, He just gave in to his mother's wishes. I know he should have tried pretty firmly and not given up on it. But he did try to do a good job pretecting Nandini in any ways he could from Ansh. Finally after realizing what an evil Ansh was, Tulsi started supporting KN which made it lot easiar for them to get back together.

Oh and the 3 bahus (Damini/Trupti/Tanya) fought with all their might against Tulsi for their own happiness/satisfaction 🤣

On a brighter side, Shobha did do things for her own happiness and gained Payal's love. 😃

thanks - this is a nice summary perspective. 😊 'cause i think i watched the show from past this time: when nandini was accused of killing old gujral, and she discovered karan's duplicitous life with tanya and (again!) decided to sacrifice it all.i tell you, it's really difficult finding good guys who fight to stay together, no matter what, in this show. why does this show somehow make it out that it is unachievable? or are they trying to say that it's somehow undesirable? 😕
