Okay first of all I don't want to bash anyone. This is just my point of view. Please read this in a positive sense.

# Harry's Death- Okay I half expected him to die in the final battle but when I now think about it, I see that it would have been quite pointless. That would show Evil win over the Good which fans won't probably like.

Anyway JKR said that HP was about death so I won't have minded if she killed of Harry but I certainly don't agree with the point that he should have died rather than ending up with Ginny.

# Harry and Hermione- To be truthful, I am a HUGE fan of them. I love them cause 'a brave girl - the hero' makes quite a good pair. But I love them as good friends. Infact, really good friends. Absolutely not as siblings. But as really good friends ONLY.

# Hermione - Ron - If someone gives me a briefing of Hermy's and Ron's chracter and ask me if they would match, my answer would be a plain 'no'. But the way, JKR has developed their relationship, it's bravo. RoMione is amazing. They are just the perfect sweet shy couple.

If JKR have felt she should have put Harry and Hermy together, it's nothing wrong. They were a potential couple as well, if she had developed the relationship like that.

# Harry and Ginny - No much comments here. I have never been a Hinny fan and believe me, I would have rather loved Harry-Luna.

All of these are plainly my opinion and guys, a hot discussion is going on here. I am loving it!

I have not checked this forum in a looong time and just you imagine my reaction (that of a harry ginny fan) when this thread pops up from out of nowhere:

1. Agreeing with Shreya (and others) Harry Potter was never meant to be a Love Story. If J.K Rowing wrote it that way, it would have become Twilight.

2. Harry says in the last book to Ron - "She's (Hermione) like my sister. I love her like a sister and I reckon she feels the same way about me." So therefore, Harry and Hermione think of each other like siblings.

3. The Romione stuff begins from the first book itself and one can just tell that they are perfect for each other. Also, I can pretty surely say that Harry and Ginny might have fallen in love the first time they met, although neither realised it because Harry's descriptions of Ginny say so, for example - "She emerged glowing like the setting sun"

4. Harry liked Ginny's personality (which she most certainly had) Friendly, kind, non discriminating (Luna), feisty, fierce, non-weepy, sporty, which are traits unlike Hermione's and since Harry is bored by Hermione, he is bound to like Ginny.

5. Harry Hermione would have been WAY too predictable and not 'true love-ish', so I can see why a great author like J.K Rowling would not like. I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think much of your 'creative' pairing ideas.

In response to your claims of Ginny having no personality:

Are you frikkin' kidding me???!!!

Have you even read the books, or are you basing this statement off the movie's because let me tell you- the movie Ginny's character is complete crap (no offense to anyone).

Ginny is an amazing character with a ground breaking personality!

Good discussion!

When I was younger I used to think Hermione would end up with Harry.But after the release of 4th book I started to love Ron-Hermione as well .I loved how Ron was jealous of Krum and more than anything I loved their bickering😆Now when I think of it ,I guess JKR had planned them to end up together right from their first meeting and I'm glad she did.

Some how Harry-Ginny pairing never worked for me.I find both their pairing and Ginny's character quite bland.🤓

The only thing I like about the pairings is that the trio ended up becoming a family.Being raised by muggles Harry and Hermione would be left out without any wizard relatives if they were to marry. It was clever of JKR to pair them up that way so the trio became brother/sister in laws to each other and I like that.

And yeah I agree HP was never meant to be a love story but if you ask me Rowling managed to come up with a love story way better than twilight in a single chapter.😉 (No offence to twilight fans,Just my view)

M i the only one who loved all pairing without any fuss? from book 3 onwards it was clear Ron-Hermoine will be together. so I dont like anyone else pairing with them. i hated Lavender as much hermoine hated her. 😛

Harry-Ginny- Am i the only one who wanted them together since Book-2? May be. I always wanted them together and i loved Ginny in book 5 and 6. she was amazing.

Harry-Hermoine- Boring. Harry wont argue back that much. Ron was needed for tat. 😆 and above all they were like siblings.

BTW Hermoine has maximum pairing in FFs among all the females from Tom Riddle junior to Malfoy. 3-4 generation.
