Junaid is sitting on and bed reading the book and looks up asks his wife ,did she talked to Kashaf ? she says she talked to her early on the evening . The minute Zaroon told her an she congratulated her . Junaid Says , arre you should have congratulated her from my side also Ghazala says : why ? you yourself congratulate her . do not you talk to her as well . Junaid : yes , I talk to her occasionally .Any way I am very happy for both of them now a days because they are about to embark on a new life journey .Ghazala : I am thinking of taking a trip to Islamabad . Junaid : Huh..How come suddenly you thought of going to meet them . Ghazala smilingly says : it usually comes.. .i miss them . Junaid : when are you sitting alone in the house that you are finding the home empathy and lonely ? she replies still she feels .and you just coming from office disappear in your study . you never give it a thought that someone also is there besides you . Junaid says that you are right , this is his life style . I can not seprate study from my life . she replies that she is not asking him to separate himself from his study . All I am saying that take some time out for me also . Junaid is looking at her and she asks why he is looking at her like this ? Junaid . No .i am not looking .just trying to understand what you are saying . she says I did not said something very difficult . Junaid asks her if she is leaving her carrier . she replies that she is not leaving anything , just changing her priorities . Junaid asks her Why? She replies not to ask this question as its difficult for her to answer . Kashaf and mother are sitting in her home .Rafia tells her that Kashaf you do not have ant idea , how happy I am .Kashaf : I have pretty good idea ,how you feel .your father was also very happy on hearing this news . Kashaf looks at her : why did you tell him ? Rafia : does not matter dear . after all he is your father, besides that one should share the good news .Kashaf is upset : only with those who are happy for you . Rafia : ok , leave it and tell me what did Doctor say ? everything is alright dear ? Kashaf smiles and tells her mother that its twins . Mother is very happy and says that its good that her family will be complete at one go . Kashaf : What if its not complete , then ? Mother asks her what does she mean ? Kashaf : Its not necessary that I will have one boy and one girl ? I could also be having both daughters . Mother tells her that always pray for good things . Kashaf asks her that having two daughters is not best thing ? Mother tells her she did not say this . Kashaf says that something's are not said ,but only are heard . Mother tells her stop thinking all this and pray for healthy child and learn to be happy . Bless you and your husband .
Zaroon is in his office , preparing to leave and gets a call , its from Asmara . She asks him what he was doing and he replies nothing . Asmara asks him to grab a cup of coffee. ? Zaroon declines saying that he and Kashaf have an appointment at home ...Perhaps on another day . Okay , may be next time . Zaroon comes back to home and Kashaf opens the door . Its Zaroon with flowers and smiles at her . Both are happy and Zaroon gives her flowers . Kashaf smiles : Really ? you used to give me one flower only and now today a whole bouquet ? Zaroon comes closer to her : Haye , those feelings that were in one that flower ,can never be replaced by this bouquet . Kashaf : I thought that you will give me only one flower rest of my life ? Zaroon : Well it was different before . That one flower was meant for my one wife ...my one and only life partner . Kashaf : And now ? Zaroon looking at her for a moment : Now you are not alone . Kashaf is smiling and shyiningly asks him : now what ? Zaroon holds her both hands : I had no idea that you would look so beautiful while being pregnant . Kashaf : May be your can be deceiving you ? Zaroon : Yes , could be deception ...But if it's a deception then I am ok with it because it could not be a more beautiful one . Smiling looking at each other then he asks where is her mother ? She tells him that she is sleeping and goes to make tea for him . Zaroon finds some letters on the dining table and looking at them . He finds a letter with Kashaf,s name on it and opens it looking hee and there and Kashaf comes and he puts it back in the envelop .Kashaf brings the tea and looks at the letters and Zaroon gives her her letter , she says I did not see it . Then she finds that envelop is opened and is serious asks Zaroon did he opened the letter ? Zaroon Yes ..I was checking my mails and accidently opened yours . Says anyway forget it . Zaroon : You do have an appointment with the doctor in the evening , Do not you ? Kashaf says yes . Zaroon says: If you like take the mother as well . Kashaf says Okay and Zaroon tells her that we will eat dinner outside . Kashaf leaves the letter on table ,Zaroon calls her and gives her letter . Kashaf standing in outhouse : Was it an accident or he deliberately opened my letter ? And if he did open deliberately then why did he do so ? She is in deep thoughts Mother comes down and Kashaf is arranging the flowers .She asks Kashaf why did she let her sleep so long ? why did not wake her up ? Rafia : Arre Wow , what beautiful flowers ? who brought them ? Kashaf : Zaroon . Rafia : Why ? Kashaf : Just like . Rafia : Such beautiful roses and looks at her Kashaf . Kashaf : Yes , they are beautiful but also have thorns . Rafia : Really , but I do not see . Kashaf : you might not be able to see them but they do prick nonetheless . Zaroon was saying that will go outside for dinner ? Rafia refuses by saying that home cooked food is better , lets stay at home . Kashaf : lets go and tomorrow you are going back to Karachi and it will be outing also . Rafia agrees .
Zaroon Kashaf are sitting and its night . Zaroon has some papers in his hand and asks Kashaf , has she thought of the names . Kashaf say no. Zaroon looking at her says : Alright , that's also ok .Kashaf : Why ? Zaroon : Because your family can name one and my family can name the other one . And I think that should be it . As it is I think two kids are more than enough . Kashaf looking at him : Very funny . Zaroon : I am not being funny , I am very serious . Kashaf is somewhat serious : What do man care , as it is neither they give birth to a child nor do they care for it . All they do is to label themselves as papa or dad or some such . Zaroon looking at her : Really ? That means you have already exempted me from this responsibility and do not want me to help you in any way , hmmm? Kashaf : I never expected anything from you anyways .Zaroon : that's not fair Kashaf . He looks at her and says : lets see . You , yourself will get to see firsthand as well I look after my kids once they are born . Kashaf : Really ? Zaroon : Yes . Kashaf : Tell me , what you will do for them ?Zaroon thinking then says : I will do everything except changing the pampers ! Kashaf : that was expected . Zaroon : Alright now do not get upset . If they are cute like me , then I might just condone just changing their pampers. Kashaf looking down : If are not good looking like me ? What then ? She looks at him and Zaroon also looks at her . Zaroon : Why do you say that ? You are really very lovely Kashaf . Kashaf tells him that she was just joking . I do not think like this . Zaroon is serious ; But you did say like that . Kashaf : you do not have to get serious I just said like that . Okay , so I may ask you a question ? Zaroon looking at her : I really quite get worried when you ask for my permission to ask a question before actually asking the question . Kashaf : you are not that worried or timid as you pretend to be . Zaroon : That's what you think . Anyways go on..? Kashaf : Another time

Kashaf father comes to Rafia place and Rafia tells him that I was happy to see their home and Zaroon I very loving husband . She says that her daughters got the loving caring husbands from good families . And he praises Rafia for giving good values to the daughters.
Zaroon is in the lawn of his house and planting two plants . Kashaf comes with coffee and smiling asks him : Since when have you developed a love for planting plants ? Zaroon smiles : These I am planting for my babies . And when they break out of their little pods then I will plant in the lawn ..Both then will grow together . And you know , I also have named them ? Kashaf : Really , then tell me what you have named them ?
Zaroon : This one is called Jupiter and this little man here is called Mars . Both are laughing and Kashaf : You named the plants Jupiter and Mars ? Zaroon : yes do not you like the names ? Kashaf teasing him says : So from now on you want me to think about plants name before my kids ? you are really too much . Zaroon looking at her : why ? whats so wrong about this ? I think one should atleast grow one plant with every person born ...and that's so that every person,s oxygen is taken care of before he or she arrives . Its like as we get insurance policies for our children , in the same way these plants are their insurance policies for life . You do not agree ? he goes on watering the plants .

Zaroon : No , if its daughter too , then also . Kashaf again gets serious and Zaroon looking at her : Kashaf , Hello . whats the matter with you ? Kashaf is lost in her thoughts . Zaroon : You are mostly lost in your thoughts now a days , whats wrong ?You are alright sweetheart . Kashaf says she is fine . Looking at her Zaroon asks her if she is taking the vitamins ? Kashaf says yes . Zaroon asks her if she is drinking the juice ? Kashaf says why ? then Zaroon asks her if she is eating the bananas? Kashaf tells him laughingly that she is eating everything . Zaroon is smiling and says take care of yourself .
Zaroon is inside the house and gets a call and its his mother . and tells her that its good she called him as he was missing her and tells her that he is sorry as could not come to Karachi. His mother says smilingly : yes now why will you come as your wife is with you now . Why would you think about your parents now ? Zaroon : Ma , I do not expect yu to talk like this . . Mother : But Why not ? After all i am mother-in-law .And you are the one who keeps me aware of the fact that I am mother-in-law . Zaroon : Yes , you are , but at present a long distance one . Mother smilingly teasing him : But then you want that mother-in-law should stay away. Do not you ? Zaroon is smiling : no , its nothing like this . Even if you are far away , you are always in my heart . Mother : What happened Zaroon, You never talked like this before . Zaroon : yes , I have changed a bit after marriage . Mother : Yes that I have gathered also since marriage you have been changed a lot and become responsible . He laughs : The credit of that also belongs to your daughter-in-law. In your language she would be known as being very accomplished , even having servants in the home ,she still does the household work . Mother : So you have got her working , look at the poor girl,s condition...she is not only working at home but also in the office . That's really too much Zaroon . Zaroon : Its not like this Ma, she likes to do stuff for me and for home . And besides we have only one servant in the home now a days . Mother : you have only one servant? Zaroon : do you think we can afford two servants ? Mother : I find it funny hearing you talk about the expenses.. however do not worry , your dad will pay for the second servant . Zaroon : No Ma, Please do not suggest this even as a joke . Kashaf will mind it , she is very self respecting girl . Anyways , why are we talking about servants ? you just tell me when are you coming to visit me ? Then it fades
Its night time Zaron is with his laptop and gets a message . Kashaf comes and he just puts the phone aside and asks her she had a quick bath . He asks her if she has seen the remote anywhere ? Kashaf replies it was lying only there . Zaroon : Oh..silly of me..it was lying beside me .Sometimes one can not see something lying beside you . Kashaf : Were you checking my phone ? Zaroon : Hmm...there was an SMS and i just happened to read it . He giver her back phone and Kashaf is serious . She tells him that she does not appreciate this what he did . Zaroon : Why Kashaf ? Its not a big deal . We are married so there is nothing pesonal or private between us . Kashaf looking down : everyone has personal and private matters , even husband and wife ...and i would never check your phone without your permission . And i would like if you give the same credence to my privacy as well .Zaroon : well i would never hide anything from you and neither i would object to your checking my phone . He is not happy about all this . But Kashaf was always a private person and is insecure Kashaf : That is you ...and your wish . But i may not feel like sharing about me everything with every one . And i do not like the fact that my husband goes around checking my phone behind my back . She is very serious . Can not we two mature people even have the right to privacy and freedom in our lives ? Or is this marriage going to eat away all our rights and freedom ? Zaroon ; Do not you trust me ? Here is the trust issue is major one for Kashaf and Zaroon is unaware of her before marriage life . Kashaf : It appears as if you do not trust me If you had trust in your wife then you would not have checked my mail or my phone . And anyways what do you think you will get by doing all this ? . Zaroon is getting irritated and perhaps is bewildered with her behavior . What do you think you will get a better wife or do you think you will become a more en power husband ? All we will manage to fall in each other eyes . .And our relationship will become weaker as it is ..its already stretched to breaking point like some very fine silk thread . Zaroon is serious and apologies to her and says : i really should not have checked your messages . I swear i did not mean to hurt you . But Zaroon appears to be hurt with Kashaf,s behaviour . Kashaf : But you did ? I will get the food laid out . Zaroon looks at him while shee goes , he is not angry . Switch on the TV. Kashaf talking to Zaroon while eating : I have had a very tough life , especially when it comes to my father and men .She is not looking at Zaroon and says that its very difficult for me to trust any man and this was the reason i got very sensitive and have tendency to over react sometimes . Her complexities in her life are coming out as Zaroon is getting closer to her and she is scared to come out of her shell . You have lived a very easy life in comparison . you have never had to feel the lack of or loss of anything . You won't understand ever what i am talking about and perhaps you will find these concerns of mine wrong . Zaroon looking at her : And why do you assume that my life always has been an easy one ? Why are you assuming that i have not seen any lack or loss of anything in my life ? Kashaf : Zaroon , what do you lack or what you have ever lost in your life ? Zaroon looking down : Kashaf , its not necessary that if you have seen someone spend a perfect life , that their life in actual is fact perfect . There may be many things lacking in my life , that perhaps i will not share with anyone ..I could also have gone through similar sense of pain and emptiness , things you just mentioned right now . Kashaf Looking at him asks : What did you miss out in your life ? Zaroon Looking at her : the healthy relationship between my parents . I missed out on my mother,s presence even while knowing her there . I missed out all that attention from her that my friends got and took it granted from their mothers . Zaroon tells her that luxuries , facilities , can never replace a relationship . Beautiful dialogues with fact of life where we see people through colored glasses . I agree that you must have lots of problems in your life , Putting his hand on her shoulder , to make her see other side of the life .But that does not mean that others lives have been easier . Kashaf put her hand on his hand and says : Aunty is not a bad mother , had she been a bad mother , you would have had lots of things that were wrong with you . Zaroon : i am not saying that she is a bad mother . yes, i will say one thing that is that she was very irresponsible . She could have done far more what she did for her kids . Kashaf , you are very lucky . You have a mother like aunty who has done a lot for you and that also includes that she never let you feel the lack of father . Kashaf : I could never have envisaged you lacking in anything . He says am i not a human ? Kashaf : no its just that i thought your life was perfect one . He takes her hand in his and asks her what is perfect ? Money , Banglow ..Car ? Kashaf a perfect life is one where there is happiness ; and the reason for happiness can be anything . It does not always have to be money . Both looking at each other earnestly
Its night and Kashaf is writing in diary ; I could never have imagined that Zaroon,s life could have anything missing in it . ..Something that he had missed out on and wanted so desperately. i have always envied his life ...without ever knowing that it was not worth envying , i am going through a strange upheaval . Is perfection really nothing but lies and a sense of artificiality . she fades in and Zaroon appears with his lap top ; I do not know why i do stupid things sometimes ,,why did i do something silly ? I think i just did everything without really thinking about it . Kasaf is right when she says that every person has the right to some privacy . That we should not interfere in each others, lives to the extent where a person feels a sense of suffocation . He is thoughtful
Next morning in the office and gets a call about Kashaf not going to office and tells she is not well . That person tells him that her phone s off so give her a message that her loan will be approved soon in 1-2 days . He is very thoughtful and shocked . Zaroon asks him which loan ? that person replies that Kashaf has applied for the loan telling that she needed urgently . This actor is really brilliant with his expressions , reminds of Aamir Khan,s intense looks .
Its night and sitting at dining table , he asks Kashaf ,had she apply for loan . Kashaf asks him , who told him ? Kamran called him and said that yur phone was off and to tell you that loan has been sanctioned .Zaroon asks her why she applied for loan ? Kashaf tells him that she is taking for something . Zaroon : If you needed money you could have talked to me .Why ask the office for it ? Kashaf ; i could not have taken money from you . Zaroon ; why Kashaf ? Kashaf ; i just could not . Zaroon ; alright , can you tell me at least why did you take loan ? Kashaf ; its my loan and my problem . Why do you need to know why i have or have not taken a loan ? Zaroon ; Kashaf, i am your husband , can not i even ask you about it ? Kashaf : I am your wife ; so does that mean that i can't do any thing because i want to do it .?Can not i spend my money . Zaroon ; you are deliberately taking this the wrong way . when have i said anything to make you speak to me like this .
Mother is talking to Sidra in US and telling her about her problem that she has to vacate the house . She tells sidra that she told Kashaf and she was very worried .Rafia says that she will not ask the father , . Sidra and Kashaf both are talking on phone , Kashaf tells her that she has applied for loan and soon the procedure will be completed .Sidra tells her that Zaroon called her . and he sometimes calls he . Kashaf asks her that she has not told him about the house . Sidra say no . Sidra says if we tell him , may be he has some solution but Kashaf tells her that even if she is dying she will not tell him the miseries of her life . His mother already thinks that his increasing expenses are because of me and my family . i do not want any help from him . when we can solve our problems ourselves than why to ask anyone and puts down the phone .
Zaroons parents are having tea. Junaid asks wife did she talk to Zaroon , she said she did and told him to take care of Kashaf . Junaid says that Kashaf is smart and intelligent girl so she will manage everything quite well . Mother tells that Zaroon also has changed and has become responsible . Juniad says its good change and mostly after marriage men become responsible if not then good wives make them responsible . and Kashaf is a good wife . Ghazala asks how does he know ? , he says he is father and this much he can judge and ghazala agrees with him . She tells that Kashaf actually take care of Zaroon and probably i had not done so . Zaroon was saying that she does everything for him with her own hands . Father says Zaroon is very Lucky then mother says : After speaking to Zaroon i realized that perhaps i might just have ignored you and Zaroon a little too much in the past . Father asks why she reached ths conclusion? She says that when i look at Kashaf , she is working woman yet she does all her household duties so well . If i have done something more then perhaps you and children could have given me some credit . May be atmosphere would have been better . The mistakes i did , i would not have done . Both just goes on talking .
Its night and Kashaf is roaming around and thinking about Zaroon and conversation with him where he asked her to tell her problem . Zaroon finds that Kashaf is not sleeping there , he looks at his watch and goes to look for her . He finds her sitting in the lawn .
Kashaf is everything is alright . What are you doing so late in the night outside ?Kashaf tells him that she could not sleep . Zaroon asks her is she feeling alright . She tells him she is fine and then Zaroon says lets go inside . Both go inside . In the morning Kashaf brings fruits outside in the lawn where Zaroon is sitting . Zaroon is searchingon his net the babies pictures and shows one to Kashaf and shows her if this on is ok . Both discuss the color and all and then Kashaf asks him : For a baby , what do yo wish ? Zaroon asks her Wish ? She asks him does he wants a girl or a boy . Zaroon : oh , if it will be a son and one daughter that will be the ideal case . But i do not have any preferences yaar . Kashaf asks him if they are not then . Zaroon replies anything. Zaroon is looking at her and smiling asks her what does she wish? she tells him that it does not matter to him whether its a boy or a girl . Zaroon says me too . Kashaf asks him if both are daughters then ? Zaroon makes serious face and says ten it will be real problem .
