Should Robbie be held responsible for....

....Kasturi's parents committing Suicide?

I have been a silent reader on this forum and this is my 1^st post out here, i hope I am welcome here. I must congratulate the forums for some brilliant post and thought provoking analysis👏.

Ever since I have seen the promo of Kasturi's parents committing suicide I have been wondering if we can blame Robbie for this. And after seeing today's episode I don't think Robbie is responsible. Robbie is surely responsible for a major of the mess out here… but he cant be held responsible for Kasturi's parents attempting such a drastic step. NO, I am NOT defending Robbie for humiliating Kasturi, Ronak and their mothers.

I personally feel suicide is nothing short of a sin and even the legal system holds Suicide as a crime. And more than a sin I think suicide is a cowardly act, it cant be justified for any cause and surely doesn't warrant sympathy. Once u cant justify Suicide, you cant hold the reason behind it responsible for the suicide. I might be sounding stone hearted, but it is just that I respect Life, and i believe in respecting it no matter how difficult it may seem. If Suicide is a justified option then the whole world would end their lives in no time! And how is anyone responsible if a person decides to end his life?

It would have been fantastic if Kasturi's parents had fought it out for their self respect and that of their daughter's. They just took an easy way out. Whatever reason the father might have had it didn't seem justified to me, because if he really loved his daughter so much he should have stuck by her, she needed him the most at this point in time. Didn't he think of his other daughters before he took such a drastic step? I would have applauded the Chawla's if they held their ground and stood behind their daughter and walked out of the house if the head of the house and the other family members felt harassed by them… suicide is no option at all!

Now the entire blame of Kasturi's parents condition will fall primarily on Robbie… which is being unfair on Robbie(Not that he has been very fair). It would have been a different issue if kasturi's parents had suffered a natural health problem(an heart attack or paralysis) due to stress. Even if a person can be held responsible for someone's suicide, then I think Kasturi's Grand dad will have to be the 1^st one to be blamed. Robbie is afterall an outsider… and hardly has known Kasturi for a month or two… if he mistrusting her cant be justified in any situation then how can Kasturi's grand dad who has known her all her life behaving in a manner in which he did be justified? As a family it was important for them to stand together in this moment of crisis… but what does the head of the family do? Disown Kasturi along with her parents… on what basis? On the basis of Family Values!!! What an irony😕! Does Family Value include deserting ur dear ones when calamity strikes😡? It was Bauji's taunt that led Kasturi's parents into this drastic step… because they weren't contemplating this action the previous day, it was only after Bauji disowned them did they take this step. I still maintain u cant blame anyone for a person deciding to end their lives… you cant blame someone for the other person not having the courage to battle the adversities of life.

Life is not all over if some playboy Rockstar insults their daughter without any rhyme or reason. Life doesn't end if ur parents disown you. They could have moved out that home, out of the city, out of the country and make life for their own. Their daughters are educated and they can make a career and support their parents. I don't know why Ekta has to show the parents of Daughters being so weak and imply Daughters are nothing more than a burden😡. Kasturi's parents might have spoken against this thought many a times, but their action today proved that they really didn't mean it.

I am saying this again, I am not defending Robbie's actions… but holding his responsible for Kasturi's parents act is not right. As far as Robbie goes… this guy is going to pay and pay for all this deeds big time😡. He is going to suffer both way. He is in pain today because of a heartbreak and a presumed betrayal by his best friend and the love of his life. When the truth is going to be out… the pain of a heartbreak will still remain along with immense guilt that he cant do anything about but carry it with him for life. This guy's story cant get any sadder, he will live to tell the story of a mother who chose money and status over the happiness of her own child😭. When the truth is out, the guy isnt going to have anyone… not a single shoulder to cry on, not a single soul who can comfort him…not his mother, his sister, his supposed fianc, his best friend, Ronak, Kasturi and he wont even have Robbie Sabarwal to comfort him because he will be consumed in so much of guilt and hate himself for what he is done. He will not even have a career he always finds solace in....because he doesnt have anyone managing it for him anymore. This man is going to drown in a lifetime of misery… and well deserved if you ask me. And I really don't know who will pull him out of it…. the only person I can think of right now is his father because this man hasn't been a party to this current mess at all. I really hope he raises to the occasion and is a father 1st more than a freind! When i mean father, i am not saying he should support his son blindly...but make his stubborn, blinded son see the truth and stand by him as his support.

I feel the saddest for Kasturi… the three most important people in her life at this point in time are deserting her… her parents and Robbie… one by committing suicide😒, the other by calling off their relationship as a sham😡. I wish she wades through this crisis and proves she is the strongest when it comes to character. I wouldnt like her marrying anyone just to get a temporary solution to all this mess... i want her to fight for her dignity and for heaven sake it isnt in some other man!

Having said all this Robbie should be given a chance, but only when he has repented for his mistakes... and i think his penance will be in the fact that after this he doesnt do anything that hurts Kasturi anymore. If she manages to find happiness away from him, he should let her be and if her happiness still is with him, then he better move earth and heaven to make it possible for her to accept him despite all that he has done. But whatever is the fate of Robbie-Kasturi's relationship...i want it to be Kasturi's call... ONLY Kasturi's.

I would love to read ur views on this… Can Suicide be justified option? Wasn't there any other way Kasturi's parents could have dealt with this crisis?

umm well...first of all committing suicide is not a solotion,it's just an escape...and robbie cannot be blame alone...tht poor thing is mama's boyy but ekta has shown something which is soo not realistic...rust is a base of a relationship..putting all the blame on robbie for the suicide thingi is not rite..it is completely devika's fault..cumon guyz tht poor thing is too much in love and if can love a person to some extent you can even even hate tht person this also part of love..he hates her soo much much cuz he loves her...his love is shown in his anger...has any1 noticed?!...and miss kasturi who da hell asked tht stupid women to lie to robbie knowing hw possessive he is and his upbringing..and who the hell asked her to write her name on the abortion papers..her mom can take care of the brat diviya..where i see it,robbie shud be given a chanc cuz tht poor thing is too much in love

Robbie is not responsible for Kasturi's parents decision. A very irrational and absurd decision on their part. I posted my opinion about this under the "Episode discussion thread" and so don't want to repeat myself here.
But Robbie in a way pushed them into a corner. So as far as Kasturi is concerned, something happens to her parents, she should never forgive Robbie. At least she can't forgive as of now. He needs to learn a huge lesson in trust and relationships. You know, life takes you through many twists and turns and there are high chances of Robbie coming back to her repenting big time for his mistake. She should evaluate then as to what she needs to do.
There are several ways her parents could have handled this, definitely not in this immature manner.

I will stop now, or my answer will become as big as your post!!!!

I have no doubt that Robbie loves Kasturi...but the guy has to know what True Love means and i sure when he comes out of this mess he will know what Tru Love is and will know to value it😃
If kasturi was stupid to put her name on the abortion papers, Robbie didnt help matters either by not questioning her.
I surely do believe the guy deserves a chance...but i also believe the decision to give him that chance of not is completely in Kasturi's hand and if their Love is true... as their anthem says 'Love will find a way'😃

😆 i guess i made up for all i wanted to say through out...hopefully i will be a bit more(may be a lot more😆) concise in the future.

i dont think robbie is responsibal becasue kasturi's parent should believe in their daughter and in other way i thikn he is becasue if he loves kasturi a lot then he should believe on her more then her self.

this sucide jus came in from the the blue..i mean hello..who wud take care of their family,they have other daughters and they shud trust kasturi...and i hate kasturi's grandfather...ok fine robbie shud have trusted kasturi..but all the brainwashing..iy was an initial reaction..he loves her soo much tht that the thot made hi m soo angryyy..plus all the evidence...kasturi shudnt have lied to him..he still loves her..and tht stupid woman just got insulted and didt even say a word...tht was retarded..and robbie shudnt have misbehaved with kasturis mum..devika tht fat ass woman,it's her fault...cant she see tht how much he loves her but nooo...both kasturi and robbie are at fault but the situation robbie created for kasturi was jus t not done...humiliating a girl in public..but still hezz hurt and kasturi is not even giving any explanations...tht's dumb..hahaha you kno wat if ekta seperates the two lovers ppl might go on a strike..hehehe

I totally agree with everything you said. Especially what you said about the families uniting. That's why I posted a topic as well "Families Unite vs Split Ekta Style". She always makes the females to be the conniving, helpless ones and rarely portrays them to be the strong, independent and extremely intelligent creatures that they are in reality.

all this has happened due lack of communication between people involved in this saga. nobody acted and reacted in a rational way . robbie's raections are based on impulse and wrong feedbacking by his own so called loved ones and him not using his brain. so every one is at some or other fault , completing blaming one person is not good either , but again its ekta created serial , so what to expect same rona dhona , families making fun at each other misery , playing with emotions.
