Chapter-7

Time for Action...to make our Dreams True

Reyansh was raging with anger listening to his dad, he is angry on his own dad, couldn't even shout at him, and what is he thinking about his son, is he an item to be sold off at a price. He wanted to shout at him; because of him he lost the girl with whom he wants to spend his entire life. Why is his dad doing this? Doesn't he know he is playing with his son's emotions? It was turmoil inside him, but he didn't let out a single word, he stared angrily at his dad, and left the place. He took out his mobile and dialed a number. Now it's time for him to get into action, keeping aside his coyness, it's time for him to fight for what he desired.

Rey was waiting for Taani in a coffee shop. He called up Taani and asked her to come here, first she was reluctant, but when he insisted and told her that it is of something important, she accepted his invitation. Rey was deeply thinking now, how to tell her all this and ask her to help him out in coming out of it. He is getting frustrated with the situations, why everything is turning out like this, he needed a solution, and the only person he found reliable was her!

"Hey Rey"

greeted Taani

"Lost somewhere?"

she asked him looking at his face

"Hey Hi!" his face was glowing on seeing her; she took a seat opposite to him.

"So what's up? Why did you call me here?" she asked him

"I need your help Taans"

"Taans?" she asked him questioningly

"Yes, Any probs?" he asked her teasingly

"Actually my friends and brother call me Taans"

"So?...Even I can call u Taans...Why do you call me Rey when my name is Reyansh?...and my frds call me Rey...So what am I too you?." He smirked.

"Ok baba ,No issues, let's get into the main point now." She said as the topic was deviating

"Yeah Yeah, Lets Order something first and I will let you know in detail about everything." They ordered cheese cakes and coffee as the waiter left, she asked him "So what's cooking up mister?"

"Taans..., this marriage needs to be cancelled" he slowly let out his thought

"What!!!" It was a scream; her face went red indicating that she was angry "Do you think you can play with girls emotions as you like!!!" she shouted forgetting her surroundings

"Cool Taans, listen to what I have to say" he said waving his hands fervently

"What?" she questioned him angrily

"Well, Taani, my dad he is too money minded, I'm so frustrated by the way he is behaving. I cannot shout or scold him, he is my father after all and I do have minimum respect towards him, but his behaviour is becoming outrageous..."

"Now in what way is that related to your marriage Rey? He is getting what he wanted right?" she cut him short

"Yes, he got what he needed and is demanding more and more from them, which they can't afford as of now because what I heard is that the girl's parents are in deep debt, which need some time to recover, so now I need your help here"

"What can I do Rey? I cannot change your dad's mind, nor I can ask the girl's parents to stop, they have many hopes and they are all well prepared about all this, and I know how bad it will effect a girl's family and I cannot do it, so it might never happen !" she said that as a statement and her features smoothened now. ".Moreover I have some other issue to handle..you remember that day a women called me for some help."

Yup..I remember..'

Actually Rey...the girls name is Sharon and her marriage is on the same day..but she loves her college friend Swayam...his parents not agreed for the marriage...the guy is up to drinking and druging...she wants to stop her marriage...and our NGO decided to help her...'

Thats great"shouted an excited Rey..

"What"...asked a shocked Taani.

"NO! It's not like that, you can do it!" he said

"How?" she asked again with a question mark on her face.

"Well, Taani, you meet the girl's parents and the girl as well tell them what you have gone through because of my dad" he was saying all this , but his voice was deep indicating it's hurting him badly.

"But how will that change them?"

"Your words will do the magic Taani , that's why I chose you , tell them it's not a big deal now later on they might face a lot because of my dad , their daughter won't be happy in our home" he added "YOU CAN DO IT TAANI !!!"he stopped stressing and continued"You're a motivational speaker , and in turn you will also help Sharon to come out of her marriage and help the boy she loves...cause I have hurt you and I don't want to hurt any body .specially I don't want to separate two lovers...Taani, Sharon is the girl I am getting married...There is nothing...harm in breaking the marriage ..Sharon and her family will be saved from my father's demands and Sharon may get her love ...this is all I could say...as I know the pain of losing the love of my life"

He took her hands in his caught hold of them firmly, giving her the assurance that she can , she was staring at their hands , held her head down , she was in a difficulty to accept it , but she needs to help him as well as the girl and her family from Rey's Father , a money minded man!!...and moreover she too knows the pain of losing the love of life.

"I will do what I can, just for you Rey!" she continued "and for the girl also, but is it the right thing to do now?" and she continued "What about your future REY? Any girl you marry will face the same situation right ? "

She asked him because even his life is at risk , if she helps him in cancelling this marriage.

"I know about my future Taani. And about my marriage and the girl , you help me in this and you will get the answers for all your doubts" looking at her with earnest,

(he thought to himself even you knew the answer TAANI')

"How?"

"I'll teach my dad a lesson" he said firmly banging the table.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes it is!!! I'm sure." He gently pressed her hand telling that it will be fine and giving her the assurance and after having a bit chitchat they went home...but unaware to them some feelings which were hidden in the respective hearts were once again budding outside...

"Heyyy Taani!!! What happened? I've been waiting for you madam!" Rey was pouring out his expressions, without letting Taani to tell what has happened.

"Will you please let me compose myself?"

"Yeah yeah sorry"and motioned her with his hands to take her place.
She has taken a seat opposite to him and told him "Rey now there is a bigger task than this to solve this problem"and gulped in water leaving him in a state of shock

"What do you mean Taans...Taannuu?" draining his smile from his face

She shook her head in disbelieve with the different names he have started calling...but she ignored "Yeah REY , I have told them everything and after listening to this they were flabbergasted at first , but I somehow managed them , they had totally agreed with me , her dad has totally accepted to break this engagement , after her dad has told that to me , Sharon asked me to come aside and told..thanked me that the marriage has broken ,she loves some...Swayam...as we have..already talked before.. and the guy has totally spoiled his life , ruining everything , ..but now she asked me to talk with his parents and her parents about their marriage...if they agree now and also her dad might demand all the dowry back , will your dad give it back?" she sighed heavily after telling him what has happened and placed her hand on her forehead.

"What to do Rey? Actually I'm not afraid in handling this, but..." She was about to continue something, then Rey motioned with his hand to stop and he continued, "I'm there for you Taanu you have promised to help Sharon and , I'm gonna handle this now , dont worry,your promise will never be broken...as long as I live"

"But how?"and why will u not break my promise Rey?..Why do u care?

"Taanu ...I am pretty sure, you know the answer better than me...so now lets talk about swayam and Sharon...and I have an idea Taanu"

"..."
"Let's spilt this task, I will handle the guys parents, you handle Sharon's parents right and the problem gets solved."

"What about the dowry?"

"I will tell my dad to give that back, if he protests I will tell him that, I will complain to women protection cell"

"mmm , sounds good and easy , but we need to implement that properly, right?"

"Taanu" he called her softly, she looked at him "We can do it dear"

At Rey's place.

"Dad it's enough what you have done with my life!!! Please give them back the dowry!!" Rey was literally shouting at his dad

"Son, its none of your business!!! You marry the girl whom I have decided that's it" equally shouted his dad

"Have you gone mad dad? They wanted to cancel this marriage!!! Do you think they will still proceed with this marriage? You know why they have cancelled this??? Because money is what you wanted to have, but not my happiness. You have killed my happiness but still I will leave it to you!!!" he looked at his dad who was looking with wide eyes at him and he continued"You anyhow don't want my happiness, please give them back the money they gave or else the situations might change dad!" he said that with a sharp voice and left the place without listening to what his dad was saying.
