Basic precaution doesn't mean her identity was stolen.
And sorry but this path was chosen by Nitya herself. Mistakes are from her side. Mistakes are drom her parents who never warned her about maalik's real nature. Servants know each truth. Especially drivers. Utterly ignorant of her father to have never warned her or Payal.
I am not into victim blaming here but pointing out a lack of caution.
Nitya could have lived "normally" too. Why did she opt for revenge? Why did she opt for underhand tricks instead of petitioning or using ways that in real life Sabrina Lall did in Jessica Lall case? Or she should have forgotten everything and settled elsewhere!
No one especially went all out to force Nitya.
Nitya invited death attempts herself. Sorry, but the way she has been bragging and threatening in flashbacks shows what danger she invited for herself. You don't brag like that or threaten in front of crocodiles! Goenkas must have thought this girl will be trouble despite winning case and hence they eliminated her and her family.
Even now, couldn't she have made Dev meet Payal at a neutral spot? Like a park? Why disclose her hideout?
I believe paths taken by likes of Sabrina Lall, Priyadarshini Mattoo's family, Rizwan's family are much better compared to path taken by Durga.
I don't make sympathy case for Durga and her mission. She took on this path herself. No one asked her to do it. Her parents are dead anyway and won't come back. Her sister is going to recover yet her trauma can never be erased.
She has been trying to piss off Goenkas for long. She should have had basic knack of keeping safe then. Who leaves gates open for anyone to enter?
Nitya was an impulsive, outspoken girl who made wrong decisions. Durga is no different. Same attempt to threaten others yet falling flat on own face.
She is most welcome to assume her real name and go to any country with her love.
Sakshi is being what she always was. Even if not a vamp, still normal people also don't tolerate meddling that Durga was doing.
If Durga thinks it was a game or battle then she should be ready to face anything.
She should expose that affair now to distract attention from herself. Though I don't think it will accomplish much as Sakshi seems to know it but ignores it as only status is important for her.
To think of it actually even Sakshi is just a robot who acts as watchman to protect family and cover their blunders plus maintain status quo at parties as arm candy. She is never relaxed for a minute. She has no hobbies, no friendship, no love, no trust. Even those for whom she fights day and night don't give a damn to her.
Real crooks are the men like Shaurya who think world is in their pocket and go on to use women either as toy or as shield. Durga and Sakshi are victims of patriarchy in different ways and at extreme ends of the curve.
