Anandi was impatiently waiting for Shiv to return from the office. She paced in their room. "Anandi kya kar rahi hai you shouldn't." She sat down at the writing desk and checked the table clock. "6 baj chuke hain Shiv ab tak kyun nahi aaye?" It was evening and at any given moment Shiv would return from the office. Anandi was excitedly waiting for him to return. She was in their bedroom when she heard the honk of his car. She ran out of the room and flew in to his arms. "Shiv I missed..." Anandi could not finish her sentence as Shiv excitedly lifted her and twirled. "Waise main sirf last 6 hours se office mein tha but maine bhi tumhe bahut miss kiya. I missed you too." Shiv bent low to kiss her... "Nahi aapko miss karne wala miss nahi..." Shiv could not believe that Anandi did not miss him when he missed her so much. "What? Iska matlab tumne mujhe miss nahi kiya? Ye accha hai abhi toh sirf hum do humaare do hain par tumhaare paas time nahi hai mujhe miss karne ka mujhe yaad karne ka. Third baby ke aane ke baad toh pata nahi mera kya hoga? He pouted and went far away from her and sat on the high back chair with his hands crossed at his chest. Anandi came to him and sat on his lap. Finally the wait was over. It was time to check it. "Shiv aap dekhiye mujhse nahi dekha jayega." Shiv was about to take the stick from her hand. "Aap ko kuch samajh mein nahi aayega let me see." Anandi took the pregnancy test in her hand and her eyes welled up. "Anandi kya hua? I knew it tum kuch zyada hi excite ho gayi thi aur ab naummeedi haath lagi..." "Shiv main ummeed se hoon." "I know abhi bhi tumhe ummeed hai..." "Shiv main ummeed se hoon." Anandi stressed on each and every word. Shiv tried to understand what she said and then Anandi nodded happily. "You... I... "Pakka promise. Main janti hoon Shiv ki aap par sirf humaari family nahi balki kai Udaipur ki saari janta depend karti hain. Shiv and Anandi hugged each other. They were both now impatient to get the pregnancy test done at the clinic. Only after the confirm report they could tell everyone especially Saumyaa and Soumya. The following morning Shiv and Anandi woke up early and got ready to go the the clinic. At the clinic Anandi's samples were taken for the test. They were special patients so the doctor asked to get the test results as soon as possible. Shiv and Anandi closed their eyes and said silent prayers and asked God to have mercy on them. HE had given them the hope, joy and the happiness that they were would be parents when the home pregnancy test was positive. They prayed for HIM to have mercy on them one more time, just this once and for to have the test results be positive. "Congratualtions Mr. and Mrs. Shiv Raj Shekhar aap parents banne wale hain. Anandi is six weeks pregnant." The doctor left the happy couple and would parents alone to express the intial joy. The joy they felt was insurmountable. "Anandi tumhaari prayer accept kar li Bhagwaanji ne." "Nahi Shiv ye sirf meri nahi balki hum chaaron ki prayers ka jawaab hai. Humse zyaada intezaar iss baby ka humaare doosre bacchon ko tha Shiv. Ye baby hum sabko chahiye tha." "Humaari CHAHAT poori hui Anandi." Shiv and Anandi hugged each other but then Shiv left her. It is ok.' Blinked Anandi telling this to Shiv and went ahead and hugged him. From the clinic Shiv and Anandi went to the temple to offer thanks.

Anandi and Shiv came home and called the children to their room. "Mamma papa aap kahan chale gaye the? I was looking for you." Saumyaa now 7 years of age asked them. Soumya saw Anandi's eyes were moist. "Papa aapne kya kiya? Why is mamma crying?" "Oye bacchu side change kar li. 2 years mein ban gaya tu bhi mamma's boy." "Chup! Teeno chup karo. Baby ko dara doge kya? Baby kya sochega ki kaise circus mein aa raha hoon main." "Baby? What baby?" Soumya and Saumyaa both were confused but slowly it dawned to them that they were going to be getting a chotu baby. The children were excited to get a new baby in the family. They started jumping up and down with joy, sqeauling and clapping. The family members gathered in Anandi and Shiv's room. Anandi and Shiv were blessed by the elders when they were given the good news. Saumyaa and Soumya instantly got into a fight whether the child would be a boy or a girl. Anandi looked tensed when Shiv instead of telling them to make peace joined them in their fight. Ira came and stood next to her. "Ma mera kya hoga? Main chaar bacchon ko kaise sambhaloongi?" "Anandi abhi se tensed ho gayi? Ek kaam karna tu na apne sabse bade baby ko sambhal lena hum baki teen bacchon ko sambhal lenge." Ira smiled. Every one left the family alone to enjoy this time.

"Shiv." Anandi said sweetly trying to get Shiv out of his deep sleep as sweetly and comfortingly as possible. "Hmm..." "Shiv, please uthiye na." She continued to try to wake him up. "SHIV!!!" She pulled the blanket off of him. Shiv bolted up in a second. "Kya hua? Is it time hospital jaana hai?" "Shiv I am 6 months pregnant. Hospital nahi jana." "Oh accha. Good night." "Kya good night? Get up Shiv." "Kya hua? Sone do na. Kal subah mujhe office ke jaldi uthaogi tum. Raat ko der tak jagati ho subah jaldi utha deti do." Shiv complained like a small child. "Black forest ice cream khana hai baby ko." Anandi said rubbing her hand on her tummy which was getting bigger these days. Shiv half asleep groggily scolded Anandi. "Tumhe sharam nahi aati baby ke naam se mujhe ullu banate hue? Black forest cake hota hai ice cream nahi." "Nahi nahi aati. Now get up mujhe ice cream khane jana hai. Shiv black forest ice cream hoti hai. Please chaliye. Theek hai agar aap nahi aayenge toh main apne bacchon ko kehti hoon wo meri har baat maante hain. Wo le jaayegne mujhe. Main drive karoongi. Anandi pulled off the blanket off of Shiv and switched on the lights. Shiv had to get up as he could not sleep when the lights were on. God Anandi aur iski cravings. Har raat wo bhi aadhi raat ko inko kuch naya chahiye hota hai and by the time unko doon unhe nahi khana hota hai. Chalo Shiv babu iss waqt ice cream shop jakar patnijee aur baby dono ki farmaish poori karo.' Shiv did not like to lose his sleep at night, he did crib but it was all worth it when he saw Anandi relish on the food and satisfy her craving. "Chalo chalte hain. Bacchon ko bhi lekar chalte hain kal Saturday hai unki chutti hai."

Anandi's pout turned in to a wide smile. They got dressed and went to the kids' room to take them too. They too were Khumbh Karan like their father but a minimized version. They did not wake up even for ice cream. Shiv drove around town at half past midnight to find Black forest ice cream. They could not find the ice cream in any of the ice cream shops. "Anandi tumhe kuch aur khana hai? Koi aur flavor? Main kal black forest ice cream dhoondh kar le aaoonga." "Nahi mujhe koi aur flavor nahi chahiye. Aur aap kal ice cream lakar kya karenge jab mujhe abhi khaane ka mann kar raha hai? Mujhe abhi chahiye." Anandi crossed her hands at her chest. Shiv kept on dirving and stopped at many ice cream shops but he could not find it. It was 2:00 am now. "Shiv" Anandi said in a singing voice. "Kya hai?" "Aap gussa nahi karenge toh ek baat kahoon?" Anandi smiled like a small child. "Kaho." "Wo na mujhe abhi abhi yaad aaya ki ghar par fridge mein black forest ice cream ka ek tub hai." "Kya?" "Shh... gussha nahi baby darr jaayega." Shiv glared at Anandi who gave him a sweet smile. Shiv drove them back home. Anandi was feeling tired so Shiv lifted her in his arms and took her inside the house. They talked while Anandi enjoyed her ice cream. She was a mess. Shiv cleaned her hands and mouth. He gave her his hand to get up from the chair but she raised both her arms like a small child. "Utho." Shiv again lifted her up in his arms and took her to the bedroom. He placed her on the bed and lay next to her. He caressed her face till she fell asleep.

Anandi woke up about an hour later to go to the washroom. Shiv was not in bed. She saw light coming out through the slightly open washroom door. She went there to se Shiv trying to put balm on his lower back. "Main bahut moti ho gayi hoon na? Ab mujhe uthane se aapko dard hota hai." Shiv turned around when he heard Anandi's words. He saw that her eyes had welled up. She had been feeling very insecure about her body these days.

He was reminded of an incident which happened 2 days ago. Shiv was in the office when he got a call from Ira. Anandi had been crying for quite some time. Everyone tried to but she was inconsolable. "Kya baat hai ma aapne urgently ghar kyun bulaya? Main important meeting chokdar aaya hoon." Shiv had left from his office as soon as Ira had called him up and asked him to come home. It was an emergency. "Teri meeting important hai ya teri biwi?" "Ma baat kya hai? Kya hua hai Anandi ko?" "Papa mamma is crying kabse." Saumyaa and Soumya both came and told Shiv. They went to the room and saw Anandi sitting on a bean bag crying. When she saw Shiv and the kids she began to cry even more. "Soumya Saumyaa tum dono ne mamma ko kuch bola? Did you call her motu?" "No." "Golu?" "NO." "Round round like football?" "NO!" Basketball?" "NO!!" "Volleyball?" "NO!!!" Shiv was confused and the children too did not like him interrogating them. "Bacchon ke bahane se aapne mujhe sab kcuh bol diya. Ek toh ye sab aapki wajah se hua and aap mera mazaak uda rahe hain? Sirf alag alag balls par kyun ruk gaye? Water melon, pumpkin bola ki nahi wo bhi pooch lijiye." Shiv rushed to her and wiped her tears. "Anandi I did not mean to but tum jaanti ho na Saachi aur Muskaan ko pehli baar kitna pareshan kiya tha dono ne maine socha ki kahin tumhe bhi... Kya hua?" "Dekh nahi sakte? Pooch kyun rahe hain?" Shiv did not understand. Anandi asked him to come closer. "Anandi tum bhi na sabke saamne sharam haya naam ki cheez tumhe chuye bina hi mud gayi hai kya?" "Shiv!!! Apne honeymoon mood se bahar aaiye. Honeymoon ka result bas 2 mahine mein humaare godi mein hoga. Aapke lips nahi kaan mere lips ke paas laaiye." Shiv did not want to anger Anandi further more. He put his ear near her lips and she whispered something. "Oh okay. Umm ma, choti ma aap log jaaiye main hoon na main ab sab handle kar loonga. Babies tum dono bhi jaao do your homework." Everyone left them alone. The children decided to do something to make their mamma smile. "Anandi kyun tum kaam karti ho tum rest nahi akr sakti kya? Kya kar rahi thi tum?" Anandi pointed towards the clothes she was putting in the almira. Shiv smiled he loved Anandi's pregnant form. "Main jaanti hoon Shiv ki my measurements have changed and one change aapko bhi bahut accha lag raha hai. Wo main ye kapde yahaan se nikaal rahi thi so that I can put my maternity clothes here. Main thak gayi toh main baith gayi aur ..." Anandi began to cry once more and Shiv noticed the bean bag she was sitting on and now she could not get off of it. He smiled and got her off the bean bag and made her sit on the rocking chair. "Anandi tum bahut beautiful lag rahi ho. Tumhe pata hai jab ek aurat ma banne wali hoti hai tab wo apni poori life mein nahi lag sakti utni beautiful lagti hai."

Shiv came out of his memory land when he felt the warmth of the pain reliver on his back and Anandi's tender fingers applying pressure to soothe his pain. Shiv turned around and cupped her face and pecked her on the forehead. Just as Shiv was about to kiss her on the lips she pushed him away and rushed to pee. Shiv made her lie on the bed and pat her head till she fell asleep.

Shiv and Anandi and the children were very excited for the baby. Shiv had planned and designed the nursery according to his and Anandi's inputs. The children also gave them inputs on what the kids of today's times would like. They had fights while designing the nursery. Shiv like any father wanted a baby girl and Anandi wanted a baby boy. The children too got into that same fight. Finally they settled on shades of purple. The nursery's theme was a dreamy heaven. The baby was God sent for them. Angels in the heaven had smiled upon them and they were blessed with the child they would soon welcome into their little world. Shiv went to the office for half a day and the rest of the work he did from home. Anandi was now in the 7^th month and she felt she was a big as a small sized Syntax water tank which they had on their terrace. Shiv did everything to make her feel pretty. He had her designer design maternity clothes for her. He helped her get ready and had also learned how to paint her toes. Anandi liked to look at the pictures in the mother and child care books which Shiv read. "Anandi aise scratch nahi karne nishaan pad jaayegne maine iss book mein padha hai." Shiv saw Anandi scratch her tummy. "Mujhe itchy feel ho raha hai." "Anandi tumhaari skin stretch ho rahi hai iss liye. Aaj tumne lotion nahi lagaya?" "Washroom mein jo tha wo khatam ho gaya hai thoda sa tha maine lagaya tha." Shiv went and got another jar of her lotion. He settled on the bed behind Anandi. She rested her back on his chest. He lifted her top up and dabbed some lotion on her tummy and gently massaged. Her eyes welled up when shiv took care of her. The first time round he was not around to take care of her. Before Shiv could see her tears she changed her mood. "Shiv main aur kitni moti hone wali hoon? Main ye baby fat kaise loose karoongi? Seriously ab mujhse nahi saha jaata. Ek waqt tha I was too hot to handle now I have become too big to handle. Aapke office mein sab titliyan aapke aas paas udti rehti hongi na?" "Muah! Anandi I know tum insecure feel kar rahi ho but you know what iss jahaan mein mere liye bas tum hi maayne rakhti ho. Mere office mein koi titli nahi hai. Haan meri life mein ek phool hai aur main uska bhawra." "Shiv!!! Kahan se seekhi aapne aisi baatein?" "Bas seekh lee. Tumhaare liye main kuch bhi kar sakta hoon." "Sachhi? Toh thoda aur lotion lekar massage kijiyena I love it." Anandi fell asleep in that position. Shiv remembered the little Anandi he had fallen in love with. Now that little girl was a fully grown woman, his wife and the mother of his children. He made Anandi sleep on his side of the bed and lied on her side admiring her he went down memory lane of their journey from the first meeting till that moment. A wide smile appeared on his face.

He remembered their first visit to the doctor. She had confirmed Anandi's pregnancy. At that time Anandi was six weeks long. The doctor did Anandi's check up after the test results came in and she told them that she was going to perform their first ultrasound. Shiv and Anandi were anxious to see what the little one looked like and could hardly wait for the first sonogram but to know that everything was well was more important. On their first scan at 6 weeks they waited anxiously to hear the heartbeat. All of a sudden, the room filled with the loud thud of the baby's heartbeat! The doctor told them that their baby had a healthy heartbeat. They couldn't believe that they were actually hearing clippity clop of their baby's heart beating for the first time! "Humaare baby ke dil ki dhakan Anandi." "Shiv maine itni pyari awaaz pehle kabhi nahi suni." The doctor then proceeded to show them the teeny tiny little baby. They asked the doctor if their children could join them and share that beautiful moment with them. All four of them were ecstatic to see the tiny fleck on the screen! Anandi could not remember a moment she had been happy than this. They saw the most amazing eye opener in their entire life. To Shiv there was NO feeling like that. Words could not even describe the tense scared feeling that was in the pit of his stomach. They were left alone by the doctor to share that moment. She also took the kids so that the nurse could show them the other new babies in the hospital. "Thank you Anandi. Bhagwanji ne mujhe tumhe diya but tumnne mujhe meri zindagi ke sabse anmol tohfe diye hain. Do jo abhi yahaan se gaye hain aur ye wala." Shiv with pride was looking at the monitor and Anandi wiped the tears which escaped the corner of his eyes.

"I love you Shiv. Thank you for giving me a family." Shiv gently massaged her stomach. "Humaara baby hai yahaan. I promise Anandi to do my best to keep you and our children happy and safe." "Humein pata hai."

The happiness they felt was insurmountable!

Anandi was now 7 and a half month pregnant. Her god bharai ceremony was to be celebrated in a grand way. The kids rushed in Anandi and Shiv's room to tell their mamma about the decorations of the house but as soon as they saw here the decorations of the house some how looked simple compared to her. They looked at her and she looked yummy mummy. She was looking gorgeous angelic in a gorgeous red velvet embroidered exclusive designer lehenga choli. "Mamma aaj kya hoga?" Saumyaa and Soumya asked Anandi. "Beta aaj na mamma ki godi mein bahut saari things rakhi jaayengi and mamma and the chotu baby will be blessed." "Mamma hum bhi kar sakte hain ye ceremony?" "No beta only badi ladies karti hain jonko babies hote hain." "But mamma we also want to wish you and chotu baby ki aap healthy and happy raho." "Baby uske liye aap dono ko ceremony karne ki zaroorat nahi hai mama and everyone knows that." No we want to do." The children ran away. They banged into Shiv. "Halt! Kahaan bhaage ja rahe ho dono?" They told Shiv that they too wanted to do the ceremony but mamma said no. He whispered something in their ears. They smiled and went away. Shiv came to the room and saw that Anandi was getting ready. "Shiv aap mujhe kya dekh rahe hain please bcchon ko dekhiye na maine unse kaha ki wo god bharai nahi kar sakte toh shayad bura maan gaye hain. Shiv smiled, "Tumhaara naam Anandi nahi chintamani hona chahiye tha. Anandi anandmay raho chinta mat karo."

He made Anandi sit on the couch and the children came in. "Mamma apna pallu spread karo." Anandi looked at Shiv and he blinked his eyes. Anandi spread her pallu. The children placed a photoframe of the four of them in her pallu. "Mamma hum four se zyaada who can keep chotu baby healthy and safe? So ye photoframe." They also put lots of chocolates in her pallu. "Chocolates se more what can make anyone happy right?" Anandi began to cry and hugged her children. She kissed them. After sepnding some family time it was time for the god bharai ceremony. The four of them went for the ceremony. The ceremony was performed in a traditional way. Anandi was very happy. She missed Bhago but the void was filled by Sumitra, Ira and Meenu. During the ceremony Anandi saw some women point at the Soumya and Saumyaa. She suddenly became sad as she heard what they were saying. "Anandi aur Shiv ka ab apna khud ka baacha hoga. Beti hogi toh kya Anandi apni sauteli beti ko itna hi pyar karegi? Masi hai toh kya hua ma toh nahi hai? Aur Shiv wo kya Soumya ko itna hi pyar karega khud ka beta hone ke baad. Bada hi badnaseeb hai inn dono mein se ek baccha." Everyone was hearing the conversation but they thought that Anandi did not hear the women so they kept quiet. They were ashamed of such woman and also disgusted by them.

Shiv saw Anandi cry and he understood that something had happened. He came to her and took her to the bedroom. He made her sit on the bed and sat facing her. He cupped her face. "Kya hua Anandi?" She ahd been crying and he could not make her stop. "Shiv mujhe Udaipur mein nahi rehna. Hum humaare bacchon ko lekar aisi jagah nahi jaa sakte jahaan koi humein nahi jaanta ho. Koi humaare bacchon ke janam ka sach na jaanta ho. Log aise kyun hote hain Shiv? Kyun wo meri mamta aur aapke pyar par shak kar rahe hain? Wo hote kaun hai humaare bacchon ko badnaseeb kehne wale. Kyun wo ma beti aur baap bte ke pyar bhare rishtey mein sautela jaisa ganda word le aaye? Agar kabhi humaare bacchon ko ye baat pata chali toh..." "Anandi bacche jaante hain ki hum hi unke mamma papa hai and we love them. Anandi ye duniya aisi hi hai. Par sab log aise nahi hote. Hum humaara sach jaante hai na? Hum jaante hain ki humaare bacche humaare teeno bacche humaare liye ek jaise hi hain. Humara beta ya beti hone se humaara pyar humaare baacki bacchon ke liye kam nahi hoga. Humaara pyar aur badhega unn dono ke liye kyunki humne nahi par unhone humaare liye ye khushi maangi thi. Humaare parivaar mein toh koi aisa nahi sochta. Dekho sab log hain humaare sath unhe humpar poora yakeen hai." Anandi looked towards the door. The entire Shekhar family and also the Singh's were standing at the door. Soumya and Saumyaa made way from between them and came towards Anandi. Saumyaa filled water in a glass and gave it to Anandi and Soumya wiped her tears.

They sat on her either side. "Mamma we know." "Kya jaante ho beta?" "Mamma I know ki aap mujhe iss world mein nahi laaye. Mashima brought me into his world." Anandi was shocked and scared that Saumyaa might reject her. Saumyaa wiped her tears. "Mamma but sirf aap meri mamma ho. Only you. I walk like you... I talk like you... I look like you... and pata hai the most important thing is that I love you. Mujhe aapse better mamma aur koi nahi mil sakti thi. You and only you are my mamma and main aapki beti hoon. Sirf aapki. Mamma I know ki agar humaari choti baby girl hui toh bhi aap mujhse itna hi love karoge. So aap bas humaari baat suno and not to the gandi baat of others." "Yes mamma I to know ki aap and papa mujhe iss world mein milke nahi laye but just as deedu said I walk like him... I talk like him... I am handsome like him... He is my only papa. I love him and he loves me. If chotu baby boy comes then also papa will love me jaise abhi love karte hain. He is the best papa in the world. So Anandi don't listen to auron ki baat gandi." Anandi and Shiv hugged the children. They had heard the women saying about them not being Shiv and Anandi's biological children. "Mere babies itne bade hoi gaye aur mamma ko pata bhi nahi chala." "Ab kya karen mamma we had to gorw up aap 4 babies ko kaise sambhaloge?" The Shekhar's and Singh's smiled at the four of them come out of the sadness and being happy like they were.

That night the children came to Anandi and Shiv's room. "Mamma papa hum aapke saath so sakte hain?" Anandi spread her hands and the children ran to her." "Sambhalkar!" Shiv exclaimed. Shiv lied on the bed with Soumyaa and Saumyaa on either side of Anandi and he was on Soumya's right. The children looked at her tummy. "Mamma chotu baby boy hai or girl?" "Aapko kya chaiye?" "Boy." "Saumyaa ap toh girl ho aapko aapki person life size doll nahi chahiye? Bhaiyyu kyun?" "Mamma if I have 2 bhaiyyu then I wil get 2 rakhi gifts na." "Soumyaa aapko kya chaiye?" "Chotu bhai. I want to play boy games deedu ke saath I have to play doll doll. Chotu bhai hoga toh I will get to play action games." "Me too want boy." "Kyun?" "Arre tum ma beti hum papa bte par kitni bhaari padti ho ek aur beta hoga toh mens side thodi strong hogi na." Anandi liked everyone answer. "Agar beti hui toh?" She looked at everyone. "I will get my personal doll." "I will have two two sisters to protect." "I will be father of the bride twice. Two ladko ki toh band bajegi." Anandi laughed at the three of them and their answers. They asked her what she wanted and she said she will be happy either way.

Shiv and Anandi were in their bedroom. Shiv was giving her a back rub. She was reminded of their kiss the previous night. She turned towards him and stared at his lips. Shiv kissed her deeply and thouroughly. She looped her arm aournd his neck. But he pulled away, gulping for air, his eyes squeezed tightly shut. "Anandi, I want to but you know we can't. If we don't stop right now things could go out of hand and tum jaanti ho we are not supposed to. Kuch hi dino mein tumhaari delivery hai and you know na that if we do it toh you might go into labor abhi. Samajh rahi ho main kya keh raha hoon?" Dumbly, she nodded, wishing he would hold her, kiss her some more, touch her with his hands all the places on her body." He pulled her to his body and put his arms aournd her. "Let the baby come then ok?" "Okay." Shiv kissed her and then gave her a stern look when she wanted more. "So jaao."

Shiv and Anandi had heard the bond between a parent and child is unique, magical and extremely strong. Shiv was there is the labor room with Anandi. She had been in labor for 10 hours. 10 hours she had been in pain but had strongly fought every bit of it. Finally the time had come when she could deliver. He was standing next to Anandi holding her hand boosting her to push. That final push and they heard the first cry. Shiv went to see the baby. "Anandi she is so pretty." "She?" The doctor asked Shiv to cut the umbilical cord. The doctor placed the baby on Anandi's chest as soon as she was born. They had already bonded with the baby to a degree when it was inside the womb but when they held her for the first time, the bond was of an entirely new level. They counted all toes and fingers. Their daughter opened her eyes and smiled. She was beautifully perfect. On this most joyous occasion, the new parents experienced a roller-coaster of emotions. The baby was then taken to be cleaned and checked. She was fine. Shiv followed her where ever she was taken. The nurse placed an angel wrapped in baby pink blanket in Shiv's arms. Shiv brought her to Anandi. They could not stop smiling at the little baby. Anandi was to nurse the baby for the first time. Shiv did not know whether he should be there or no. As he was about to leave Shiv was stopped by Anandi. "Shiv aap kahan jaa rahe hain?" "Wo main..." The doctor understood Shiv's feelings as she had seen many men not being able to see the child feed on the mnother's breast milk. "Mr. Shekhar baby ka first feed use apni ma se jodta hai and you being there is all a new experience for both of you. Ye sirf ma aur baache ka nahi family bonding time ban sakta hai. You can stay, you should stay." Anandi was feeding the baby. She asked about Saumyaa and Soumya. Shiv told her that they went to the gift shop to get their sister a gift. After the baby was fed Shiv burped it, thanks to the parenting and child care classes they had taken and Shiv being awarded the best student there. Anandi saw the baby in Shiv's arms and the smile on his face. Shiv saw Anandi look at him and the baby with teary eyes. He came to her and sat next to her. They both held their baby and he put his one arm aournd her. "Thank you Anandi." "Maine kuch nahi kiya Shiv. Ye khushiyaan toh humaari kismet mein thi." Shiv kissed Anandi's tears away. They both forgot themselves and the pain Anandi had been in when they saw the baby open and close her eyes. Saumyaa and Soumya came to the room with cute soft toys. They were sent in so that they could bond with their sister. The rest of the family would have to wait for their chance. Her cute yawn made their smiles reach their eyes. "Mamma iska name kya hai?" "Tum dono batao? Papa aur maine aap dono ka name rakha aap iska name rakho." Saumyaa walked around the room and Soumya sat there thinking. "Mamma hum sab chahte the ki ye aaye. Ye hum sabki chahat thi toh iska name Chahat." Shiv sat on the bed next to Anandi and the kids with them. Shiv put his arms protectively around all four of them.

As time passed Shiv and Anandi enjoyed many of the joys of parenting which they had expected but there were also many other thrills that snuck up on them when they least expected for which they never knew to prepare for. Their daughter Chahat just like their other children Saumyaa and Soumya was an angel at times and a cutely devilish on other times.

Shiv, Anandi and their children Saumyaa, Soumya and Chahat lived happily ever after...
