Difficulty only for women to replace the man they are committed to??

Anandi struggled a lot to come out of her past i.e Jagya. It took a lot of effort from Badi Haveli's Dadisa,Bhairon,Sumithra,Gehna to convince her for remarriage and not to forget Collector Shiv who found no fault of Anandi in this case.

Nowadays Gauri is trying to reconnect herself with Jagat. Did she marry again after Jagat left?? May be her love for Jagat didn't vanish but her ego keeps it engulfed.Remember Jagat slapped Gauri infront of their friends...This must have hurt her a lot.Perhaps this was the reason why she wasn't interested in contacting him again.

Anandi cried for the loss of 1 man (Jagya) but Jagat lost 2 women (leaving Sanchi behind) before his marriage to Ganga.

Pain & difficulty he had while leaving them ❓
Jagat's ability to admit women into his life without much distress ❓

Is this the case only with Jagat (or) do most men behave in the same manner??

Aren't men well bonded with their life partner like most women do??

Shhh if you bring gender issues here you will be bashed. Jagya became Doctor plus MLA while Anandi, brilliant in academics and ex- sarpanch, has been reduced to a joker.

not a gender issue, not at all.

Jagya tells lies, Gauri tells lies. Jagya slaps Gauri, tells her he is returning to Anandi. Not a gender issue. Gauri is the sinner who deserves the worst punishment in the world, while J, the sinned against, will marry a third time.

Seriously, jagya fell out of love with Anandi and fell in love with Gauri. Within hours of leaving Gauri in an impregnated state, he fell back in love with Anandi. He swore he cannot forget her and would live forever in her memory. He was still in love with A, when he fell in love with Ganga.

Anandi pined for him, Gauri still pines for him and Ganga worships him like God.

Not a gender issue. Not at all.

@stalwart
Sorry i wasn't trivialising your post. Just that I'm fatigued arguing there is a deep gender bias in BV.

You raised a serious, valid point. Hope you get serious, valid answers.

If the separation is mutual, it is relatively easier for both man and woman to move on.
In case of separation through deaths or unanimous decision by one party, it is usually difficult for the other party to move on.

In J's case all his decisions to terminate his relationship were unanimous. The females concerned were never given a chance to have their say. They were only given a verdict by Jagya himself without any consideration of how they would feel. N Jagya always had another female at his disposal in all 3 cases.

This explains why his women always suffered while he got away with all the goodies.

He later did realise that he was wrong in handling his women. But by then the damage was already done and he couldn't do anything to mend it. N when he tries to mend with the hurt woman from the past, the existing woman to whom he is committed suffers.

But there is no explanation as to how could move from one woman to another so swiftly

Agree with your reasoning 😊
And yes, there is no explanation as to how he could do it.
Its the way his character has been crafted 😆
-------------------
Was just re watching Jane Austen's "Emma "...I could not help but notice "certain" similarities in this context 😆
A fine man as Mr. George Knightly confides that he gets 'envious' of a man like Frank Churchill, who being engaged to a woman , flirts with another woman openly, keeps the engagement a secret to all his near and dear., for his own selfish reasons., and yet he is forgiven without a thought by all involved in his game...😆
This is how lucky J is too...
Should we say, he is the writer's blue eyed boy 😆

Jagya trashed his Parents' and family members' advice to patch up with Anandi pointing that their relationship was forced and not mutual.

But how did his relationship with Gauri happen!??Who forced him?

He wasn't ready to deal the consequences of his own actions ❓

Gauri was his saccha pyar nobody forced Gauri on him but Gauri forced him to break up with her😛
So in Jagya's world Gauri is responsible for all that happened to him in his life after he met Gauri. Anandi and his family were responsible for all that happened before he met Gauri
He is just an innocent bystander who gets affected by the actions of all the others.

Yes there is a gender issue in BV, male lead gets two professions and while the female lead who is bright is no where when comes to her profession.

Jagya being a doctor plus MLA is a difficult to digest still for me and can not but help 😆 at how quickly he mastered both professions in matter of months or year.

The BV Cv's sure do know how to make their characters be masters at their profession in few months or year according to BV time. Which in real life takes years for people.

Also look at Gehna how quickly she learned how to run a business.

There are some men who do not bond with their life partners, not all men are fickle.
