Great post.
Dhruv should not have done this. But he did it in the heat of the moment. He was fustrated, scared seeing Nandini in danger, anger and he lose control over his temper and punched Manik. Dhruv is gonna regret it. And Manik will be hurt. But I believe their friendship is strong enough to survive. It happens in real life too. Sometimes we say many bad things in anger but people who truly love us get hurt but understand it. And the person who says it feel horribly guilty after he calm down. That's gonna happen here too.
But yes thnks to Alya a crack has been made. Maybe the four will survive the storm and stay together. But Alya won't be able to survive it. And Harshad is gonna make full use of this crack. And that stupid Navya is gonna help him. She is very selfish.

@Catatonic_Cat If Fab 5 bonding was THAT strong, no third person would have been able to break that.

Fab 5 are destroying themselves thanks to the amount of negative energy that's present in the group.

I remember my own lines from a few posts about the group such as 'they seem like a group who are together because of a shared love for bullying others, being evil' or 'I have no interest in watching a bunch of sickos bonding at a poolside' ...perhaps THIS has been the actual reason all along. Harshad is an opportunist and Nandini a mere catalyst.

The group was brittle from the start, only that no one have ever stood up to them and their atrocities, except Nandini.

Dhruv-Maanik bond is the strongest of em all

Love is not about possession, love is about appreciation.Never thought Aalya could surpass even Maanik in evilness! Someone as evil as her can NEVER love anyone but themselves 😡

True friends can see right through each other instead of taking their words at face value, also they trust each other implicitly, knowing they'll never be judged for whatever secret they might share amongst themselves- no matter how it makes them look. I'm sure as hell that Cabir is still lying and funnily enough, Mukti believed him! 🤪

Dhruv had kind off promised Nandu that he wont let them harm her anymore!!! And his doing that now!!! He is standing up for her.. He knew that sending the goons like this is crossing the limits!! and thats why wen he realised that its Manik who did it...he couldnt take it anymore!! He really does like this girl and is now ready to stand up for her...even against his own friend!!

I honestly dont see Manik as basically evil as emotionally warped with a need to belong, infact even Mukti and Cabir I think can be redeemed. Alya for me is the most vicious , someone who can choose a guy over her own family has something really wrong with her priorities in life. Harshad getting pissed with Nandu and Navya getting pissed with Nandu pisses me off, they all just want to use her.
and yes Dhruv Manik friendship is genuine, the others are all pretty superficial though with Mukti she is very loyal to her friends.

While I do agree that Dhruv should know Manik better , I think its all the pent-up frustration that he felt and he reacted rather than thinking. It happens, even in friendship,we say things to our friends in that one moment of heated argument. The true test of friendship is never in the bright times, it is in times like this, how does one get over it and trust me this punch has done damage to both Dhruv and Manik, it will hurt them both.

Manik was super frustrated that Nandu called him a Monster and is capable of doing something like that in his frustration, he pretty much lost his cool.

The episode has brought out the Dhruv's feelings for Nandu kind of into the open to the rest of the Fab5. Up until now, only Manik had an inkling , that too a fleeting thought but now its going to be pretty obvious to everyone that Dhruv has feelings for Nandu.

Manik and Dhruv will resolve this fight but now one set of secrets are open, Manik won't be bale to keep quiet too long about Nandini.

I have moved from maybe Harshad is not soo bad to not liking him much, the fact that he and Navya want to use Nandu makes me so sad for this girl. Everyone wants something from her even her so-called friends.

I kind of like the story-building, there must be something to break the laissez-faire situation, something that needed to bring the Fab5 out of their bubble.

Exactly catty...this is my point also..I cant blame Neither Dhruv nor Manik in tht Situation and Dhruv after making Promise to Nandu has have a feeling to safe her from all the forth coming fights and in tht builtup tension he just lost cool...😕

It was Mukti who must have fueled Alya to "teach Nandu a lesson"... I remember scenes when Alya just wanted Manik to spare Nandu wanted her to get vanished from their lives. She initially didn't want to do anything with Nandu seperately, but Mukti fueled her...she told her to teach Nandu a last lesson before letting her go. I've always disliked Mukti's character, she is too harsh.. Rest 4 don't look like tortureres all the time but she does.

Coming on Dhruv, he loves Manik as much as Manik loves him. I'm sure he'll regret punching him later... I don't doubt the strength of these two brothers bond at all. :)

my full judgment at the punch is reserved till the actual scene is shown. but i like to believe Dhruv punched Manik to stop him from all the raging. not because he was raging at Nandini but because Dhruv once said that anger doesn't suit Manik. I think it's that case of one friend slapping the other to snap him out of something.

I wouldn't call Fab5 as brittle as their friendship seems genuine enough to me. the thing is that they've never had much of an individual life. Alya's life revolves around Manik and being all mean bitchy with Mukti who goes around having affairs with guys which Cabir finds interesting enough and then there is Dhruv who is just there. there's a whole amount of codependency going on round here. these 5 rich kids met, all having familial or personal issues of their own, and they decided to start a band as their shared love of music, got famous because of it and started living in all that glory. nothing else other than the need to be mightier than others seems to bind them. like I said before, they live in a bubble where no one else but them exist.

now if you put emotions like first love, love turned to hatred but with love intact, insecurity, jealousy, and things like personal secrets and that frustrating need to want to be near someone you shouldnt care about, it's all like a needle, ready to poke the bubble. whatever that is happening isn't putting any cracks, it's just bursting their little bubble and making them realize ke there is a life outside their circle and there are people who can and will affect them. it's all a part of growing up, that realization that the world is much bigger than the boundaries they've set around them and that the paths we chose for ourselves are often left untrodden for new directions are explored and new companions are formed.

Fab5 can be horrible but this is a story of their coming of age as a whole, individually and as a unit. i would love it if that remains the case and everyone gets his/her due chance at growing uo rather than just one-two characters. these new people in their life and these circumstances potentially can affect and change everyone..

Manik shouldn't hav taken all blame on himself coz he knows Dhruv better than anyone nd knows that Dhruv likes Nandu
Dhruv is a person who has more frustration sadness anger nd all
the day when Nandu punched Manik Dhruv told him that "yeh gussa frustration sirf muj par suit karta hai "nd all
when Manik took all the blames on himself that he was the one who sent the goons Dhruv became out of control
i think they will sort things out soon bt not sure what will happen to Alya when they know abt the truth
