Hands down, NO! I agree with all everyone who said that no one should rule the house, neither men nor women. Understanding and love should play a bigger role than power. Usually, it's the kids who rule the house anyway 😳

If the woman is a home maker, then yes, otherwise, everyone should do only how much they want or like to do. For everything else, there is a maid😛

Nope. Those who select to do both or fulfill both responsibilities have willingly opted for that kind of life... and anything which is willingly embraced is rarely a HARD task. We see several women in this forum, who fulfill both their responsibilities to their work and home efficiently and then come on IF to fulfill their inner needs and their responsibilities to their own soul and mind.

Brute force sometimes aids in domination.

Single minded focus or determination and multi tasking possibly does not go hand in hand.

Yeah, why not. Ultimately, they are both starting a new life together.....

Men "ruling the house"..this is just WRONG! Both men and women have an equal right to the house..so why is it that the men should "rule the house?"😕

Noooo!..Whyy? Why should the women do all the house chores and cook the food? As i said both the man and woman have an equal contribution towards the house it would be unfair to have the women to do all the work. It is definitly not the women's responsibility to do all the house work and cook the food.

Well i guess men should know that. Maybe it's because they feel that they're always at work and they're wives do nothing at home all day so they feel that only they are hardworking they're wives just sit home and watch tv all day. Honestly, i don't know whyy men are more dominant than women.😕

No, but since it is traditional i guess we have to follow it. Though i've seen many "ghar jamais" too. The girl shouldn't have to leave her house but it's like when a girl gets married she has responsibilities of 2 houses to take care of now and soon she has to start her own family so it would obviously be better that the girl lives in her husband's house but i don't understand why the girl has to leave her house. In that case, the boy should do so too.😛😆

Yes, they feel all proudy of themselves which is why they're all dominant over woman. It is probably they're ego which tells them " What?? You're losing to a girl?" But for this I think it also depends on the person's upbringing..some parents actually say this to their children so it stays in their head which they carry on later with them in the future. It's just wrong, there's no need to have all that pride.

No, i don't agree with that. It's wrong of them to have a system like this.😕

Yes, maybe one day we will and all these men and woman rivalries will be over. Men will finally be treating us equally and the need for all these questions won't be necessary. Women are progressing muchh faster than men these days and i believe in this statement!
