WOW is the word for dis update. The way you described Geet's dream,so full of desire, expressing how muucchh she still loves Maan. The way he kept fading away n then disappeared,Geet's baffled reactions, the floating, the drowning, her hearing voice of Maan...all these things gave a chill down the spine feeling and a feeling that she should wake up and find Maan. And that happened too,n how satisfactory that was!!
superb description of Maan's wet form...My imaginations were going wilder than Geet 😳
And finally she kissed...WOOOWWW
Awesome part yaar. And dont get irritated with the "Awesome" word pls.The update really is Awesome 😉

Any softness there had been in Heer's face became replaced by annoyance. "I'm not a strong driver and you know that. And this area is so hilly that... whatever, I'll just reschedule for a day when janaab is free to -"
"I can go with you."

For Shika. Words fall short.
Tick, tick, tick... boom!
For all the times she had bit her tongue to keep quiet, it must have been bleeding by now.
She tried to stare ahead at the road in front of her but her eyes strayed to the speedometer in time to see it push a pathetic 20 mph. She closed her eyes and focused on her breathing.
Shanti, Heeru, shanti. This lift is a favour, she chanted to herself. This lift is a favour...
Satisfied that her bootleg meditation had worked, she turned to look out of the window with a smile that lasted all of two seconds.
"Are you kidding me? A tractor just passed us, Nayantara!"
Nayantara shrugged, keeping her eyes on the road. "I don't care if a crawling baby overtakes us. I am not driving rashly in this weather." She paused and snidely added, "Of course, you're welcome to take the wheel if that's what you'd prefer."
"What I'd prefer is to leave you here and run the rest of the way myself," Heer muttered.
"No one's stopping you, babe."
Heer flared her nostrils and, in an attempt to ignore her impossible companion, shifted herself to face the window.
Nayantara rolled her eyes. It was like driving with a child. She had never known anyone to be so grumpy about speed. When she wasn't complaining about her driving, Heer was rummaging through her bag and muttering about dying of hunger.
Still, Nayantara found that she was enjoying herself, which she considered to be solid proof that she needed to get out of the haveli more often. For the smallest of moments, she tore her eyes away from the road and looked over at the woman who was hunched into a ball and pointedly ignoring her.
"Heer, come on. So we'll be a bit late. So what? You've already called Mrs Sherpa to let her know."
She waited but there was no reply.
"You're being a bit extreme now, do you know that? Itni si baat ko le kar..." She shook her head. "Pagol."
That seemed to bring Heer back to life. She whipped around to face Nayantara, fire in her eyes and bitterness in her voice.
"You know, Nayantara, I came from a small town too. And when I moved to Mumbai, I didn't have a real job - just the odd, shitty low-paid stuff that was enough to bring some money in. For two years, I worked as a temp, a waitress, a cashier, all the while trying to get a job that would bring me closer to my dream. Do you know what I learned in those two years? That people don't give a shit about other people's time.
I've lost count of how many waiting rooms I've wasted my entire day in, all for just ten minute interviews. That wasn't just time wasted; it was money lost, it was other opportunities that could have helped me become a better dancer and build a better dance academy gone. Forever. That is why, when one of my dancers cannot master a step, I'll make them practice a hundred times if needed. But if they've nailed it on the 101st try, I won't hold them back a moment longer.
That is why I refuse to force people to wait for me and that is why, Miss Nayantara Rathod, I refuse to live by the leisures of a small town."
By this time, Heer's chest was heaving from her diatribe and her face was flushed with anger. The seconds slowly ticked by but Nayantara took her time to reply, waiting until it seemed as if Heer had caught her breath. "Done? Feel better?"
Heer glared at her.
"I didn't spend my entire life in a small town, either," Nayantara said gently. "Even if I had, it would not have made any difference. The value of time is not lost on these slow, quiet places. But neither is the value of being kind to yourself."
She hesitated, wondering if what she was going to say was too intimate. "You're too hard on yourself, Heer. I don't know why but you're punishing yourself for the past, for mistakes you did not even make."
Heer looked down at her folded hands, refusing to be anything but stoic.
Nayantara waited for her reply but when none came, she placed a hand on her companion's shoulder. "You said you were hungry. Come, let's eat."
Looking up in surprise, Heer squinted through the rain and saw that they were parked in front of a roadside dhaba.
