I read somewhere that Colors doesnt like big stars.

Sanaya is one of the most popular TV stars

Now Ashish has also become fairly popular.

Could this be compounding the TRP issue and causing Colorless channel to axe the show ?

God knows that the show was humongous, but due to differences between ST and his partner, the management and story-telling took a little dive ?

What is going on in Colorless people's minds that they want to axe a show they KNOW is so popular in the UK and the US ?

Can a Colorless representative enlighten us ? TRPs are meaningless, this is an international age and economy.

Well as you already said colorless, lemme tell you they are brainless so they dont know what does economy means, the thing is that they dont know that we pay a certain amout to get their colors cable to our tv and if we stop that subscription they will endure a big loss from UK and US and other countries! we'll show them economic financial drop and how does a channel get closed!

I didnt want to sound negative, but yes, if they axe Rangrasiya I want the channel to shutdown. If they cannot take into consideration their viewers, then they dont deserve to be functioning 😡

😆 this is what I was telling to my cousin yesterday ... It seems like Colors not only dont want any star ... but also dont want any good and professional actors . They are fine with people who shoo away media and throw tantrums😉

Umm really? even if colors was so stupid as to not like actors merely because they are popular why would DD be a part of it?Why would SI be?Wouldn't the channel just refuse to cast the popular actors?
And the trp system is flawed but the ratings are not meaningless. How can they be when it is only on the basis of these ratings that the producers and the channel earn their revenue?Online popularity and popularity abroad does not get them much, does it?

yeah that's what I meant..they get subscription revenue but not advertising revenues. And I have read on the forum that colors' reach in the UK is less than star plus',even according to the biz asia articles SP shows generally get viewers above 1 lakh while for any colors show it is really uncommon to go above 1 lakh...so even there SP earns way more than colors I think.

we cannot compare colors with SP ... colors lack in every aspect ...
if they want to compare their revenue with SP then its too stupid ...
here in India too in many remote areas colors are not even known ... whereas SP is played 24*7 ...

You can't compare Colors UK with Starplus at all- they are far behind - Starplus UK put hard-coded subtitles in every episode for non - Hindi speakers- ( that's what got me hooked on IPK) proper promos and repeats and they have a HD channel and also show programmes in the timeslot they specify not before or after - which Colors does frequently - I wrote feedback to Colors UK many times to suggest how they could improve - they just said they valued my views but in 8 months nothing changed so I gave up a couple of months ago - the only good thing to come out of this my Hindi improved! 🤣
