What is it that draws Myrah to Rudra ? Its not his anger or his attitude or his persona. Its Rudra's intensity of a man in love , its his passionate anguish associated with the tragedy of losing Paro. Its Rudra's emotional insanity for Paro , its his sparks of tenderness ( courtesy: Paro) that are slowly pulling Myrah into Rudra's whirlpool.
Like we saw it today. Myrah likes Rudra as a friend, counsels him for his well-being and she tackled him much better than Maithli on the issue of second marriage. She was very frank with him without making him feel odd or awkward . Yet, the moment, Rudra goes into his Paro mode , he becomes the man who symbolizes undying soulful love. Suddenly, Rudra defines everything that Myrah could drown in and devote her life to - just to see, know and feel that how is it to be loved like that. That is the only reason that the same Myrah who is counseling Rudra one minute, turns into a fumbling doe-eyed , cornered beauty who is intimidated by the emotional and psychological expanse that Rudra is.
Coming to Rudra, unconsciously, his inherently protective nature is coming to fore for Myrah. And its not just about being her security officer. The inability to save Paro's life combined with his strongly guarding spirit is making him territorial about Myrah in the sense of a victim and a protector. The way Rudra categorically tells her that she will not do anything without his permission, the way he verbally locks her in a tower and his dominant assertion that he won't let anything happen to her are proofs of that. A twisted repeat of what he had with Paro minus the tenterhook emotional pull.
Myrah cares about Rudra and he cares about her. And that is the beginning of a very dicey journey on a wobbly rope bridge.
