Deepali lacking something....

Deepali is a pretty girl and a very good singer and one of our best hopes if we want a girl to be this years Indian Idol...but yet i find her to be lacking that spark, that personality that would make it impossible to put her out ones mind... I wonder how she could sort of loosen up and give it her all ...She has the potential but she definitely needs to come out of her shell...

well i think deepali is the perfect indian idol...shes a good singer, shes a good performer, shes smart, she has a good personality...well the songs she does dont require that much performance, so you cannot expect her to be like ankita...she put the right mood into every song she has done so far...

God forbid Deepali should become like Ankita. They are entirely different and I hope they remain so...But what I am saying is that Deepali is not putting her soul into her singing. One doesn't have to bounce around all over the stage to give a heartfelt performance...

Lacking that spark compared to whom though? Among girls the only contestant who probably stands out more than her is Ankita...and there's no shame in that given the extraordinary performer Ankita is. I find Deepali perfectly fine the way she is. Great singer(best of the female lot), beautiful looking with a lot of that girl-next-door charm on her face(which I dig) that sadly gets her stereotyped as shy and 'chup chaap' when in fact she's one of the most confident contestants on the show. In solo or group performances I always see her having the time of her life and not at all 'holding back' or being self conscious. If you're looking for her to outshine some of the more popular guys in the majority's eyes then that's just plain unfair since the audience for TV shows is largely women who're naturally gonna focus more on the guys. But believe me; as a guy Deepali to me stands out more so than anybody else on II3 😉 and I'm sure there are plenty of guys like me out there. Plus given her talent and the way she carries herself I'm pretty sure she's got a nice share of female following too. If I had to put my money on the female contestant that's gonna go the farthest on II3 I'd certainly put it on Deepali.

She is pretty and she has talent, she has easily the bet vocal ability among the girls but I need to hear a little more of her soul and more feel in her singing. She sings beautifully but sometimes like yesterday the singing is sort of lifeless and lackluster.. 😕
