Lovely take, Prabha. I hated the 3 day drought too and was waiting forever for the burnt parathas. They reminded me of Dilsher, one of my favorite characters.
The episode was pretty good. I am relieved that Rudra apologised and accepted Myrah's friendship. Paro would be proud of her Major saab. Its what she always wanted, for him to look beyond the first impression and give people a fair chance. He saw the good in Myrah and responded to that, very much like Paro did.
It was nice of Myrah to offer to help out, even though Maithili was getting uncomfortable with her growing closeness with the family. I didn't understand why Shatabdi left the kitchen with Maithili when Myrah offered to help and not make breakfast. Anyway the next scene was more interesting. Dadi and pothi dialogues were good.
Rudra eating the parathas quietly reminded me of another scene when he serves burnt rotis for Paro. Paro chokes on it and he explains that he knows to cook only like this. She looks at him for a moment and then proceeds to eat them without a fuss. That was such a nice memory.
I liked Maithili asking Myrah about Rohit. It was necessary as the girl is focussed on everything under the sun than her own fianc. We got some news too. Maithili seemed surprised when Myrah said she was not marrying for love. Wasn't it an arranged marriage from the beginning where love will happen after they tie the knot? Maybe she expected her to go the Paro way where she would marry the man she choose to spend her life with.
The next part was disappointing. I didn't expect Maithili to arrange for a prospective brides so soon especially without discussing with Rudra. This is a Mohini like character deviation. I hope she got the message loud and clear that he is not interested in remarriage. The only likable part was the little detective darlings and the funny faces.
I was stunned just like Myrah when Rudra spoke of love. It really showed to what extremes he loved Paro. I really wish Paro had gotten a chance to see it.
Tomorrow Myrah will get kidnapped and her mean uncle is going to blast Rudra for it. Not looking forward to that.
Things are at an interesting point where Rudra is being nice and friendly with a woman who shares his dead wife's face. And Myrah is slowly realising that marriage needs stronger foundations and not just her parents wish.
