Nowruz is rooted in Zoroastrianism but it is known as Iranian/Persian New Year and most Iranians/Persians celebrate it...it is a major holiday in Iran and is also a holy day for people of many different religions as well (but mostly everyone celebrates it in March). My family celebrates it because we are part Iranian/Persian. 😊
