Rashi was very negative in the beginning, and turned more positive later on. I love the Rashi of present days, but I hated Rashi in the beginning of SNS, as she was just like Radha and played many dirty tricks to ruin Gopi's life. Her tricks were sometimes life-threatening to. She was not at all a character people could relate with. She ruined Jigar's love match so that she could marry him instead, and she did not love him for a long time. She married him only for his money. The Gopi in the beginning of SNS was an innocent, loving character, not the annoying mahaan that she is now. People related with that Gopi and hated Rashi during that time, because Rashi was pure evil, but gradually Rashi changed for the better and Gopi lost her innocence, becoming more boring and stupid IMO. I loved the Gopi played by Giaa Manek. The chemistry she and Rucha had was amazing. Deboleena is okay, but I never could love her Gopi as I did Giaa's.

I love the character of Rashi since the time Gopi (played by Giaa) almost died saving Rashi when she was kidnapped. The love and concern Rashi showed for her was the starting point when her character became more gray and less black. Before that though, Rashi was not someone we could relate with, as no one can treat their sister the way she did.
