Everytime the bonding of Jhalak contestants in this season was praised. I always wondered how much of it is genuine but then I shrugged off and concluded, yes they can have great bonding but damn yaar...its so true.

The bonding or goodness is only when being on the sets and infront of camera.

I am not pinpointing Sophie because it might be the same feelings echoed by all the contestants too but Sophie spoke out boldly😆

Were you planning to quit after the injury got aggravated?

I think some of the contestants would really love me to quit. They will be more than happy if I leave the show. But to be very honest, I am not stupid. If I felt that this injury would create problems for me in the future, I will obviously quit. Health is very important for me. As of now, my physiotherapist and doctor have told me that I can go ahead, but I will have to be very careful. I am not ready to quit, so for all of those ready to celebrate about the fact that I'll leave the show, I have got a bad news for them.

Who do you think is your toughest competition amongst the remaining contestants?

I think everyone is a tough competition. Shakti (Mohan) is a trained dancer, so I really didn't compete with her and made my own path. Ashish (Sharma) performs really well. Even if his performance is average, audience has always saved him because he is very popular. I think Mouni (Roy) is a tough competitor, more so because she has Punit (Pathak) as her choreographer. Punit is a really strong and popular choreographer. I think even the kids (Akshat Singh and Vaishnavi) are doing amazing. But having said that, I think even Deepak is the most loved choreographer on the show. Judges have always complimented his choreography and concepts. I guess people are loving us as a jodi and we hope to make it to the finals.

Janaab..I would like to remind you..everyone out here who spoke or will speak in future are the same contestants who said everyone are giving their best and no one is my competition. I am here to enjoy and blah blah😆

I absolutely ADORE her honesty. 👏 I've got to say, when Sophie first appeared in JDJ, I did not like her. But I have come to really admire and respect her.

^ She is honest and I like that but apart from different concepts..performances of Sophie leaving few are average too. Most of them are freestyle.😕

She's damn honest and truly right.

You have to put on an 'act' in front of the camera and pretend to like everyone on the show. There are only a FEW genuine friendships off screen. The rest are fake.

I salute her honesty, as brutal as it may be. Having said that, I don't think that the contestants should push themselves to such a level where they get seriously injured. That's just too much in my opinion. I know the saying goes 'no pain, no gain.' But come on is your passion more important than your life? Wishing her a speedy recovery nonetheless.

^ I totally agree with you but only few contestants risked in their performance. Sophie's performance had no risks of getting physically injured but it was the background dancer who blacked out when he had to hold her. Having said that, I wouldnt support anyone to take risk even when they know they are injured.

Well I guess we'll have to agree to disagree then because I think she's a beautiful dancer compared to many of the other contestants 😛...in my honest opinion, she's better than Kiku, Karan, Ashish, and sometimes even Mouni. 😊

About her doing a lot of freestyle...this year most of the contestants are disappointing with their dance styles. So I won't even comment on that.

I love the way she pulls off any dance form gracefully..

@Bold - I have to agree with that too!

But I also meant theme-s wise too.

She kinda did Pasa Doble for Made in India Theme.

And she did Ishq Wala Love when she had to do Bollywood.

Oh yes, I guess maybe sometimes she didn't follow the themes properly, but regardless, I always enjoy her performances...I look forward to TJ's performances the most, then Shakti, and then Mouni and Sophie. So she must be doing something right, because she is one of the few contestants whose performances I genuinely enjoy. 😊

P.S. This is a bit off-topic, but some people were saying that this year a male will win JDJ (maybe because a female won last year or something I don't know)...but it just hit me...I just listed four of the best contestants on JDJ...they are all female...it will seriously be unfair if a male wins IMO, especially because these four female contestants are better than all of the male contestants. 😕 Thoughts?

🤣🤣🤣

Frankly speaking, none of the contestants..let it be Ashish, Akshat or Karan.

None are even near to match in par with Sophie, Mouni, Shakti, TJ IN Dance terms😆

They are still going good because they might be getting votes😳

Shakti might not be a winner becoz she is a pro.

Ashish might not be a winner becoz he is colors boy.

Girls might not win becoz last year girl won😳

Then left who?

KARAN ?

I hope not.

Sophie..I dont think can get huge votes becoz she isnt a tv girl.

Mouni has potential to be in finale.

TJ lacks in votes too.

Hoping from Shakti though there are rare chances.

Lets see.

That's what I'm saying...it's ridiculous 😆 The winner should not be selected depending on which gender should win this year. 🥱 I wish JDJ wasn't so fake...
