Saath Nibhana Saathiya, 12th August 2014 - Written Update

The episode begins with a teary eyed Gopi and excited and happy looking Joshi the teacher. He speaks ill of Ahem, Modi family mistreating and not loving her.

Kokila, Ahem, Jigar and Raashi search Gopi in the nearby street, so do the police personnel.

Gopi sees Raashi through the open window, which opens due to the wind force ; while the teacher is not paying her any attention, busy with doing something, Gopi calls out to Raashi.

Teacher ties Gopi up.

Raashi searches by looking all over, here and there. thinks it is her imagination to hear Gopi's voice. Gopi prayers that Raashi finds her way to Gopi.

Modi home, the rest of the family are anxious with no leads. The children say that something is wrong and the elders are hiding the matter from them. Meera takes control of the situation and consoles the others by saying if the elders want to keep some matters away from their, meaning the children, purview, then they, the children, should not force the elders to reveal the matter, since the elders may have a reason.

Gopi's situation remains the same with the teacher preparing for a marriage, one man show. The red scarf, fire, etc. are readied by him, the recorded hymns are switched on.

Gopi in her difficult state, hands tied, mouth covered, moves towards a drainage hole in the floor, slips the "Rakhi " band through the hole, which comes of a pipe on to the road.

Raashi is nearby, after a while she sees the band and recognizes as the band meant for her to be tied by Gopi.

Raashi runs here and there and finds the entrance locked.

Ahem and Jigar realize that Raashi is not to be seen. The two cousins split to look for their respective wives.

Meanwhile Raashi's cell phone falls into the water and gets spoilt. Then Raashi climbs a drain pipe ; Reaches the top, adjacent to a window ; just about then Joshi teacher, is about to forcibly apply "sindhoor, " the red powder applied on the married women forehead.

Raashi tries to call Gopi but Gopi cannot hear because of the din or the noise of the recorded hymns. Raashi breaths the glass and enters.

In between at Modi home prayers are on, with Meera being the lead singer.

Chirag gets a call with the information that Ahem and the police are close to where Gopi has been kept hidden. With Paridhi in charge of Baa, Nani and the children, Chirag, Parag and Hetal leave.

Raashi frees Gopi and a fight ensues. Somehow beating up the teacher, Raashi and Gopi escape.

The teacher catches up with Raashi and Gopi ; comes face to face with two ladies / cousins on one side and the teacher on the other.
