NOTE: Everyone can participate in this thread. I expressed my views and if you have disagreements, express yours in a polite manner. I am ready to accept different views. If you don't know the existence of the word "polite", please stay out. I am in no mood to entertain any rude comments. No chatting, no cheering for fellow members, no gushing about the looks of any character for that matter (AD or JW or Sid or Push). This post is only about the CHARACTERISTICS of AD and not RR, if anyone has to misunderstand.

Hi ppl,😃

So the raaz that AD was very very passionately talking about and was waiting for seeking revenge for TWENTY years is finally out and oh boy what a raaz... I am not sure if that is the complete raaz but makes me think that it is.

I was not surprised cos I realised NB lady's creativity from PR raaz itself…I did not have any expectations. However, she surprised me yst. She really did…She did a good job in one aspect. She kind of maintained AD's character – the eccentric, EGOIST AD…

Right from the start, from the characteristics of AD, I was never convinced that AD's revenge is going to be justified. It was RR acting that made AD look like a person who has gone through a lot of pain. But when I saw certain aspects of AD's character, I was always convinced that AD's revenge is not going to be justified and it happened so…I always thought he was seeking revenge cos his ego was hurt.

We all know who AD is – an eccentric, egoistic person… (Repeatedly said by AD fans themselves and the media reports as well)

~ First, when he was introduced he was shown to be a person who cannot take defeat. He has to win always – egoistic AD…that gave me a slight indication that it is actually that it is his ego was hurt

~ He was always proud about himself and his creation, Durga. He thought he can control everyone's destiny – shows ego again

~ He always challenged god, he was realising that he is loosing to god but he was not ready to accept it and always told himself that it is actually love that is making him weak and it is not he himself that is wrong – ego again

~ He was always shown to talk to the person in the photo – sometimes I felt his love, but sometimes I felt his passion for that woman was missing

~ Now comes the biggest blow, his love for Durga and why he chose Durga as his weapon – he was waiting for revenge for 20 years but never appeared before…but once he realised that Bani was away from Jai…he used that opportunity…to give enough credits that is smart move…but somewhere it also shows another side of him…He wants to snatch the love which he cannot or was not able to get…he wanted him to be the winner and Jai being with his love is something he cannot tolerate. After all he is not with his wife so how can Jai be happy with his Bani?…In the name of revenge, he wanted to keep Bani away from jai…actually, keep Jai away from his happiness…Again shows his egoistic nature…if I cant be happy, no one can…

Also, his love for Durga – is it real…haa, now that is something I have always maintained it is not real…He was always taking about revenge and suddenly, one day his MIL tells him that he should start seeing Bani in a different light and Bingo he did exactly that. Though I should applaud him for respecting his elders, but yeah…this shows that he can be easily influenced. He is not strong in his point unless his ego is hurt. I said this before as well in one of my other posts. He is totally not focused and he could be influenced easily. I am not surprised that he did not trust his wife, pallavi enough…

Above all, yst's one thing showed it really clear…

After the truth was exposed, he knew he was wrong but he never felt remorse for it, for using Bani to his advantage but instead he now has a new jaap " I love Durga"…it shows it all, does not it…he does not want to lose and accepting that he is wrong is something that his ego does not allow him to do…

I applaud NB for keeping this aspect of AD intact…The raaz went exactly the way I wanted to even though it was really dumb and disappointing…I always believed that AD is taking revenge cos his ego was hurt and now that is what was shown…

AD – the absolutely eccentric, egoistic guy…

Well, if this is not the complete raaz, I am waiting to see how this egoistic aspect of AD is going to be played out…would be interesting…

Would love to hear your views.😊

Cheers,
Meena

I was wondering what stopped AD who was so powerful to take revenge for 20 yrs. Why he waited to use Bani as his weapon.

Today TR raaz explained that. When AD talked about revenge or Jai's barbadi only real barbadi he wanted wasJia to loose his love just like Ad did. He thought Jjai was responsible for his loss & wanted a pay back in the same form.

HIs bad luck that Jai Walia fall so deeply in love for all those years before Bani. All AD could do was to wait for Jia to find his real love.

May be AD might be the one who is behind Saahil mysrty too.

dear behna, great post dear and i agree that AD's character has been maintained by NB like what he is 😆 adbhoot, ajooba, anjana, andekha, duniya se anjana=pagal, and so on and the list goes on egostic and so one but i have one more view on his character.

i have posted day before yesterday that only that NB is gonna show AD as an obsessed lover and her love committed suicide because of his obsession for her and i am so happy that my words came true 😆 , from the day one AD was introduced i was crying out the words that we have got a new OCD patient and now i am feeling happy that i have been proved right 😉 and dear don't u think he was also with TS in that rehabilitation center for treatment, if not then i want bani to send him there 😆 and hopefully JB will do so soon.
dear AD's attraction towards durga is also not love but obsession and dear once he is able to have that he tries to ruin the life of woman in his life like what he did with pallavi and i am sure that JW will save bani from this new OCD patient, yaar he is a dangerous person as he is suffering from this chronic illness for years so i think only treatment left for him are electric shocks.
😆

aaj mei chill ho, aaj mei cool ho, jane kyo kane kyo 😉

I think this raaz does make sense in that AD has been potrayed as an egoistic person. He was possessive of Pallavi and did not trust her. She died and he blamed JW. Maybe deep down, he does know he's responsible, but his ego does not let him accept that.

As for Durga, again the obsession is clear in the way he talks. To him, she is just his creation and hence she is his. There is no doubt that he doesn't love her, just wants her cos he doesn't want to lose her to JW. As they have potrayed him as a kind of a weird, psycho character, the raaz makes sense. Maybe the ending to the raaz was hurried, but you know what, I think we were expecting it to be dragged and hence the surprise that it cleared up so fast!! 😆 Well, they did say "Expect the unexpected!"

I feel that this time, JW and Co will not sucumb to Pia and AD's blackmail as the stakes are high. The last time, JW thought that AD loved Bani and hence it was alright to let her go. But when he knows that AD is the obsessed lover, the creatives, I think will make him go all out to get Bani back. Now the confusing characters will be Jigs and Pia. What will be their stand? Plus I also feel the Jai butchering is over, it is pointless to continue butchering when AD has already been shown in a negative light. No need to butcher Jai to prop AD as there will be no audience sympathy gained.

On another note, the old Jigs was totally great yesterday. I loved the way she stood up for Jai and protected him, almost like a lioness protecting her cub!! Bani, hugging AD's MIL, I think is to show her as not totally ungrateful. Her character might have been bashed if she was shown shouting at AD and also neglecting the MIL. So, I think the creatives have put in the Mother-daughter angle to make it like Bani while being mad at AD, still remembers the mother's love.

I would really like to see MIL slapping AD for making her daughter's life miserable. Why should only JW get slapped by every Tom Dick and Harry for no reason? AD surely deserves it this time. I would love to see MIL helping BW get her life back on track with JW, but I am hoping for too much from the Kreatives.

Great post hun! Baasi Roti has done what we all anticpated...created a blooper of a raaz and commenced butchering AD. I was excited at the thought or RR joining the show and adding a new dimesion, but from day one AD turned me off with all the hand gestures and bizzare dialogues. What next now for him...join hands with Pia to make JBs life miserable?
I was so hoping to see the back of Pia now that Jigs is back...but I guess I was hoping for too much.
Us Munni supporters that trusted Munna totally on this have been vindicated, be interesting to see if Lord K's gopikas are as loyal 😉

Meena,
I wasn't surprised at the dismal ToorKey Raaz. As you said the PR was a foreshadowing of all raaz's to come. These kreatives need to take some kind of writing course that will teach them about building suspense that leads up to some exciting revelation of a raaz. Their writing skills are abyssmal.

As for AD not feeling remorse - yeah what a let down. You would think that he would beat himself up for driving his wife to kill herself but - no he now has a new obsession Bani Walia. I think this is all part of his obsession as he still blames Jai for his wife's death and still wants to have some revenge on JW.

Did you notice Pia slinking around the scenes with a contented I swallowed the canary smile on her face first at the raaz revelation and then in the final scene? I also noticed that her makeup has softened up. Maybe my eyes are fooling me. But is this the kreative's way of trying to redeem a completely unredeemable character?

Anyways - 👏 👏 for the return of Ashwini - the real Jigs. I can't see Pia's character holding a candle to Jigs in regards to being evil. I can't see this Jigs putting up with Pia's manipulation and treating Karuna and Jigs as her servants to do her evil bidding. Ashwini portrays too strong a Jigs to bow down to anybody except JW.

The kreatives -who all probably dropped out of kreative writing 101 before they were taught about denouement. A denouement is the conclusion of a story where conflicts are resolved leading to a sense of catharsis for the characters and the viewers. The conflict resolution in KS always leaves me with a sense of confusion, perplexity, bitter humour and regret for having suffered through such dismal story telling.

Sorry Meena,I think I veered off topic.

Well well thought out observations about AD. While I was dissapointed about the whole buildup and the revelation of the raaz, the raaz itself does makes sense from the point of view of AD's characteritics. I think his ego played a big role in what happened in the past and also in driving him to his present actions. It all fits in with his profile. But given his profile it does not bode well for Bani and JB in the future. He will not loose again to JW. He will do whatever he can to win.

Suwas – Exactly…he did not take revenge for the past few years but suddenly he came from no where to seek revenge… all these while, JW was not married, he was leading a lonely life, so seems like it did not really matter to AD…but suddenly, JW got a wife and love in his life and he is going to be a father as well (which AD believed he never was the father of a child) and is gonna have a lovely family, well, can AD tolerate that? I might be getting a bit hard on AD but I don't regret it…this is my impression about the character…

Farah – it is okay for me to leave other characteristic…I have my fellow despos to complete the thing for me na😉…okay, well, what can I say…I felt very bad for Pallavi and immediately I reminded the post yst Priya made about how JW helps all the poor husbands and wifes…dear do I even need to talk about AD's grace and dignity…nah…those are far from him…

Swati behena – you must be doing you moonwalk today…whatever you said become true…so you should make more predictions dear…but what is with tarun…Tarun was good, he only suffered from OCD before but he was treated and was okay later…but that is not the case with AD…don't compare both of them dear…

Suganthirani – yes dear…you got the point…the raaz is really not stupid as we all think…it did justify AD and his egoistic nature…

I also would love to see Jai act…I want bani back btw…
