Lootera any day, Rockstar album is overrated.

Lootera.

I love songs that flow over you, that have music and melody not just noise and/or catch phrases. That are not item or even foot tapping. Like those sung by Rafi Saab, Kishore da, Mukesh Saab, Lataji. I can put on an album on a rainy or snowy day, sit under a blanket by a cosy fire with a hot drink and a favorite book or just sit and stare out the window and let the music flow over me. It is very much my happy place, my centering place.

Rockstar had a few songs like that, Lootera an entire album full. It is perhaps one of the most beautiful albums in contemporary BW for me.

Lootera ❤️ Or basically even Sawaar Loon & Manmariziyaan against Rockstar's album for me.
Amit did a fab job. The music is soulful and has the classic vibe which I love. 👍🏼

Lootera..Manmarziyaan was the song of 2013 IMO..Gorgeous gorgeous album..So darn underrated..Amit Trivedi is literally the only guy who has shown as much potential as ARR did a decade back..That said. Rockstar has great songs too..I love love Dichotomy of Fame..Effin brilliant instrumental piece..And Kun Faya Kun is such a fabulous composition..No one does Sufi better than ARR in Bollywood..

I love Sawaar Loon of Lootera. It's such a beautiful song. <3 I don't think I can ever get bored of this song.

While for Rockstar, I loooved Nadaan Parindey, Tum Ho and Joh Bhi Main. The music was soulful. And Mohit Chauhan's voice was cherry on the top.

So I can't decide. Both albums are my favourite.
