Anurag Basu rubbishes reports of signing Ranbir Kapoor for his next

Anurag Basu has got on to a micro-blogging site to rubbish the reports suggesting he has signed actor Ranbir Kapoor for his next film.

"There is news article abt me signing RK for my next in 2015- this came out of a post in my FAKE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT," posted Basu.

However, it wasn't clear whether the account was fake or the news and hence we quizzed him back to seek clarity on it to which Anurag replied, "both."

Meanwhile, Anurag Basu is currently busy shooting JAGGA JASOOS with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

Ohh disappointed.. I thought it was going to be kishore biopic 😒

I think they won't announce before JJ release. But he did say he's doing Kishore Kumar biopic with Ranbir in a recent interview.

Kishore da biopic will be very much there, don't think Basu will take anyone apart RK for that role.

First they let the news out. Once there's enough buzz about them, they come out and deny it and some even blame others' PR. Whole industry is run by PR.
