Is Deepika better than PC in commercial films?

This is not really tit for tat..because of the other PC vs Kareena topic lol..just got the idea when discussing in that topic.

I liked Deepika in YJHD and Cocktail. And Deepika doesn't seem to get bad reviews as much as PC gets for her commercial films like AA or Zanjeer. Even In Agneepath I didn't like her.

Am not saying Deepika is the better actress..just that I prefer Deepika in commercial films over PC. Deepika seems to be more natural in commercial films than PC. Of course this wasn't always the case with DP because she was boring in LAK and I didn't like her much in OSO. But she has improved now.

Your thoughts? Who do you prefer in commercial films? PC or Deepika?

^ well hopefully not. I don't usually start topics on PC so no reason to bash me.

But am glad you brought up the looks part. Deepika loos really gorgeous in her commercial films compared to PC..that's another reason why I prefer DP in commercial films.

If you had asked who the better actress was when Deepika first debuted, I would have said Priyanka. But if you ask me about who the better actress is now, I would have to say Deepika.

Post Cocktail I found something vastly different in Deepika. I saw so much improvement from her and as an actress she evolved and grew. She bagged pretty good films and not only that, but she performed rather well in most of them.

Priyanka isn't horrendous or anything, but to me she just stands as an average performer. I think she looks over the top in Mary Kom, but I'll reserve my judgement till after I see the film.

Deepika's future projects look interesting. I love her as an actress now. She has a long way to go still, but she's inching her way up there slowly but surely. So I'd def pick Deepika over Priyanka any day.

Priyanka is miles a head of Deepika in terms of acting. Commercially I'm no really sure, but I think it really depends on the film. Deepika has only improved she's not that good of an actress in my honest opinion.
