Ek Hasina Thi Written Update 7th August 2014

A nurse enters Shaurya's room to examine him and Shaurya starts flirting with her. Right then, Durga walks in the room and Shaurya fumbles. The nurse walks away and Shaurya focuses his attention on Durga. Shaurya asks her about Dayal's decision and Durga tells him that Dayal is still furious. Sakshi walks in, surprised to see Durga with Shaurya. She inquires about Shaurya's health and greets Durga. Sakshi asks Durga whether she has come to visit Shaurya without Dayal's permission. Durga says she couldn't leave without meeting him. She also informs them that she's going to US today. Shaurya is stunned to know that. Durga says she never thought that Sakshi and Rajnath would support her love for Shaurya. Shaurya asks her why she's going to US. Durga says she has to go and tells him to promise that he'll stay happy without her. Durga apologizes to Sakshi for whatever has happened. Dayal receives a call from Rajnath. Dayal tells him that he is trying to sort out the matter with Neil. Rajnath says he wanted to have an important conversation with him but Dayal refuses. Dev recalls Durga telling him how she met Payal at the transit camp and how Payal panicked on seeing Shaurya. He also recalls the scene Shaurya created at the engagement and finally Durga's confession. Dev finds it difficult to believe that Durga had such strong feelings for Shaurya. Kangana arrives and informs him that Shaurya's health is improving. She tells him that she can't believe that Shaurya would do something like that. Kangana blames Nitya and Payal for accusing Shaurya of rape. If Shaurya had not been falsely accused, Durga would have accepted him long ago. Dev tells Kangana to stop blaming them. Kanagana tells Dev that during the trial no one was ready to support both the girls. Finally the problem was solved and Shaurya and his friends were free. Dev tries to talk to Kangana but she excuses herself and leaves. Dev thinks that unless he doesn't gather enough proof no one would believe that Nitya and Payal are innocent. Raima asks Sakshi why she looks so worried. Sakshi tells her that Durga is ruining Shaurya but he is not ready to see that. She can clearly see that Durga is just using Shaurya and she doesn't love him. Sakshi says that the confession, breaking off the engagement and now going back to US, all these are a part of the mind games that Durga is playing with Shaurya. Rajnath says whatever may be the truth, Shaurya has attempted suicide, who knows if next time he'll be able to reach hospital before it's too late. Shaurya wants Durga at any cost and hence they'll have to stop her from going to US. Dayal and Durga are discussing how the US bomb would create havoc in the Goenka's lives. A servant informs them that Sakshi has arrived.

Dayal and Durga are surprised to see Sakshi. Sakshi greets them and apologizes for her behavior. She tells them how she has finally accepted Shaurya's relationship whole heartedly. She believes that Shaurya and Durga love each other. Sakshi requests Dayal to accept Durga's feelings for Shaurya. She says that Shaurya's past was a bad luck. Nitya and Payal who accused Shaurya have been proved wrong. Durga remembers Sakshi threatening Payal's friend Divya and the final verdict in favour of the Goenkas. Sakshi tells Dayal about the case in favour of Shaurya. She agrees that Shaurya has committed countless mistakes especially the fake degree scam and also requests to forgive him for his mistakes. He is sincerely trying his best to improve. Sakshi tells Durga that she was never comfortable with her relationship with Shaurya but she would like to say something today. Sakshi says that she sees an image of herself in Durga. Dayal reminds Sakshi how she accused Durga at the hospital and questions her how the feelings changed overnight. Sakshi defends herself by saying that yesterday it was a mother who took out all the frustrations on Durga. She was helpless to see her son in that condition. Dayal forgives her and tells that they should forget everything. Dayal excuses himself as he has a lot of work to do as Durga is leaving for US. Sakshi tells Dayal that she has brought shagun for Durga.

Sakshi says she realized that Shaurya's happiness is Durga and it's time Dayal also realizes that Durga's happiness lies in Shaurya. She requests Dayal to re-think his decision. Shaurya and Durga love each other and they'll be good for each other. Dayal tells Sakshi that his decision is final and Durga will marry Neil. Durga tries to convince Dayal that Shaurya won't be able to live without her. Sakshi thinks about Durga's plan to convince her into accepting this relationship. Hence the reason why she came up with the whole US plan. Dayal tells Durga that she's lucky as Neil is still ready to marry her. Sakshi says Neil is a good person but if doesn't reconsider his decision, three lives will be ruined. Durga says if Dayal wants, then she will go to US but she won't marry Neil. She can't betray him. Sakshi persuades Dayal to change his decision. Sakshi says she'll be happy if Durga marries Shaurya. Durga recalls Sakshi's proposal to Payal. Durga thinks how in the past Sakshi begged for her son's life and ruined their lives. History is repeating itself but this time she and her son will be destroyed.

PRECAP: Dayal and Durga arrive at Goenka House and Rajnath welcomes them. Sakshi, who is playing the piano stops them from entering inside.
