Dia Mirza: I want to Direct Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh is known to charm the ladies. And the latest to catch his bug is none other than Dia Mriza. At a recent event to unveil the latest issue of Savvy magazine, Dia claimed to be most interested to direct Ranveer if ever given the opportunity in the future.
After the critical success of her latest venture starring Vidya Balan, Bobby Jasoos, Dia confirmed that direction is definitely on the cards. Dia stated "I love storytelling. I admit that direction is an area of film making that I will naturally gravitate towards. I don't know how soon, the story needs to call out to me. And I also need to make a few more films to build up my confidence to get into direction".
And even though she is highly impressed by many actors in the new crop of actors, it seems Ranveer Singh has caught the would-be directors eye. "There is something unstoppable about him. He's very potent. He has an overflowing energy and enthusiasm to his performances. I'd like to see if as a director I can find a way to contain his energy" she continues.
Dia is relatively new to the world of producing, with only two films to her name, and three in the pipeline. She describes the experience as daunting but very gratifying. "To get the written word or a script and make it into a tangible reality, and ensure that it gets to the audience, is a lot of work but I have been satisfied creatively as a producer. When your an actor you're part of a very big picture but when your a producer you facilitate the entirety of that picture. The entire process has been meaningful and enjoyable for me".
If the acclaim for Bobby Jasoos is anything to go by we really look forward to Born Free's future projects, especially if they star the blue eyed boy Ranveer himself.
