Madhu tries to scare Shikha and lies to her that she has shot Avinash.😡 Shikha panics. Madhu tells her the truth and warns her about not disconnecting the phone call again. Shikha repeatedly pleads to her while Madhu remains adamant & tells her to reveal her identity. Shikha prays to Goddess Durga for a miracle.
Neeraj enters Gupta's house through an open window (Vineet had secretly called him). Neeraj watches Madhu holding everyone hostage at gunpoint.
The inaugural function for the new hotel begins. Aditya & Samaira are called to cut the ribbon.
Meanwhile, Madhu finds out about Neeraj's presence & shoots him in his right shoulder. He tells her to let the Gupta family go & kill him instead. Madhu replies that she'll kill them all if Shikha doesn't comply. Shikha hears all this through the Bluetooth device attached to her ear. 😕
At the inaugural function, Samaira announces that she wants to reveal something about herself. The Jagannaths look at her confusedly.
While Madhu is distracted hearing Samaira's announcement, Neeraj hits her hand with a vase. The gun falls away but she manages to grab it again. She points it towards Neeraj & tells him that she's going to shoot him dead today. Suddenly, Vineet comes in the middle & takes the bullet to his chest. 😲
Samaira hears her mother crying on phone while calling out Vineet's name. She panics & runs away from the function's venue.
The Gupta family rushes towards Vineet as he falls to the ground. Madhu tries to threaten them again but they continue tending to Vineet. While she's not looking, Neeraj knocks Madhu out with a vase.
Shikha reaches home (yeah, before the ambulance could get there). Vineet requests Shikha to tie a 'Raakhi' one last time before he goes. Shikha ties the Raakhi & Vineet breathes his last. 😭
The police arrives outside (coz shots were fired). Neeraj forcibly takes Shikha to another room while she pleads to him to let her stay next to her brother's dead body (heart wrenching scene; well done by all actors involved). 👏
The police arrives inside & starts investigating. On interrogation, Avinash tells them how Madhu shot Vineet. The police takes away his body for post-mortem. 😔
Precap: 😲 Shikha slaps Neeraj & holds him responsible for Vineet's death.😒 She tells him to get out of her house. Neeraj is left stunned at this accusation. (Would he choose to remain quiet OR tell her about Vineet's last phone call to him?)
