Durga has opened up the trail for him. Her long chant was directed at him to connect, to find. He has observed only the contradictions.

He need to read that diary, which will have the details of how the bet was kept on Nithya, he should connect the talk of Durga and bare minimum realize a bet is involved as I am sure there will be lot of similarities in Shaurya's behavior in trying to win bet on Nithya and now on Durga.

That needs to be the starting point of his suspicions. Only then contradictions should be observed to conclude Nithya from Durga and then he should be clinching it with the birth mark clue.

First in the dream it was shown that Durga almost takes Dev's hand and then runs away from him. He goes finding her. Payal comes. He sees Payal and talks to her. Then from behind Payal he finds Durga and brings her to the front telling he wants her as his life partner.

Symbolically in the beginning of the track it was shown that Durga started a journey with Dev from mandir. A journey which Dev had no clue, which took him to Payal and from Payal to Nithya.

In real terms Durga has started of that journey for Dev by giving him the diary, then the song, now the trail.

He is her wild card which Sakshi is unaware of, just like Aakash in Divya Bagchi track.

Finally Dev brain started working.Better he uses his brain properly. He should also use his brain to find truth about his family also while trying to find about Durga's truth.
