Today's Take - Dhuan Kumari Version 2.0

Filler episode ... leading up to Myrah's entry into Ranawat House.

Some sweet scenes ... Rudra Dhruv, Maithili Dhruv ... and the kids' fancy dress rehearsal.

Hilarious ... Mohini meets Dhuan Kumari 2.0 😆

Mandatory filler scenes of Shatabdi Mohini oneupmanship ... this round to Shatabdi. I don't like the way mother and grandmother use Koel as their pawn in their games ... Koel will grow up to be a cunning child, adept at using people for her own ends ... if the show lasts that long!

And the final scenes when Myrah enters the haveli ... and everyone remembers their earliest interactions with Paro ...

Mohini remembers Dhuan Kumari emerging from the smoke ... and the beautiful bride she was.

Sumer remembers stepping on her dupatta to trouble her ... and Paro's fierce glare back ...

Maithili remembers Paro's attempt to cheer her up with 'chusski phiski ..'

Shatabdi remembers Paro's kindness and concern for her itchy face ...

Even Koel recalls the big garlanded photograph of Paro in Rudra's room.

Nope ... no one has forgotten Paro ... not in seven years ... and doesn't seem like they will forget her for a long, long while.

Dhruv Rudra Maithili

The two people who loved Paro the most ...

For Rudra, Paro was his wife, his love, his soulmate, his salvation

And for Maithili ... Paro was her little sister, cherished and protected ... and often as not, protector.

Both these people share the strongest bond with Dhruv ... their last link to Paro, their living reminder of her, her precious gift to them both ... to Rudra, Paro's gift of a son, a child of his own, someone who would never abandon him ... and to Maithili, Paro's gift of the joy of motherhood that had been denied to her.

They know when Dhruv is upset, sad ... they both try to cheer him up, cajole him, make him smile ... because they love him ... and they love Paro.

Rudra tries to convince Dhruv that Myrah is not his mother, because his mother is dead ... and is stricken at the precious photograph that spills out of Dhruv's bag. Despite his best efforts, his and Maithili's ... Dhruv still longs for his mother.

Dhruv is upset at Rudra's words ...

Rudra tries clumsily to comfort him, make him smile ... to no avail.

Maithili is slightly more successful, because she tells Dhruv his father is sad ... and like his mother, Dhruv doesn't like seeing Rudra sad. But he's worried Rudra is angry with him ... Maithili tells him Rudra can never be angry with Dhruv, because he promised Paro ...

And Maithili uses Paro's mantra ... aatan paatan chusski phiski ...

Smiles again on Dhruv's face ...

Another sweet scene ... the fancy dress rehearsal by Koel and Dhruv ... Koel does an enactment of Mohini, Dhruv of Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat Jr, BSD officer ... Rudra gets emotional at Dhruv's mention of dying and stops him ... did he remember that Paro also said the same words, and her words came true?

Ranawats and the new Dhuan Kumari

Myrah argues with her uncle about the need for security ... she doesn't like Rudra, but then he saved her from an accident ... and that reminds her, she has a task to complete. So off to the Ranawat haveli ...

Mohini conned by Shatabdi into going to search for the non-existent TV reporter, instead comes across ... a modern day Dhuan Kumari.

Myrah emerges out of the smoke ...
And Mohini thinks she's seen a ghost.

Ananya's expressions were awesome there! And so were Sanaya's ... Myrah probably is wondering why everyone runs away when they see her! 😆

Back home, the kids rehearsal ... Mohini runs in, scared out of her wits ... Ranawats try to find out what has scared her ... Mohini stutters ... dhuan ... bhoot ...

And Myrah appears at the doorway of the haveli ... much to everyone's complete and utter shock ...

Time turns back eight years ... and they all recall their first meetings with Paro ... it seems history is repeating itself ... and Paro is re-entering their lives again ...

All recall their first interactions with Paro ... Mohini, Maithili, Sumer, Shatabdi ...

Rudra tells Myrah to go. His tone rude, harsh, brusque ... trying to hide the panic he feels inside ...

Myrah makes herself at home ... she's come for a reason ... to say sorry.
Rudra, from being Mr Angry, has progressed to being Mr Rude ... okay, sorry accepted ... now go.
Myrah puts him straight. Not to him ... Myrah wants to say sorry to Dhruv. 😛

And she does. Much to Dhruv's delight. 😳

She takes her time over it ... smiles at the child ... presents him a chocolate ... which he waits for approval from Maithili before taking ... and then promises him her friendship. And he can visit her whenever he likes.
Dhruv is thrilled. 😳

Rudra packs the kids off to school with Sumer. And tells Myrah to go.

Myrah admires the haveli, and asks Danveer if he built it for Mohini ... Taj Mahal types. 😆
Still shell shocked Mohini, protesting she's very much alive, is removed by Danveer.

Rudra tells Myrah to go.

Myrah asks Maithili to show her the house.

I think Rudra asked Myrah again to go. He repeated it every two minutes ... forget how many times. He is running scared of this new intrusion in his life, and the unnecessary, unnatural overbearing rudeness shows his fear.

Not that it had any effect on Myrah. She likes the haveli, and she wants to see it.

So of course, Myrah will want to use the haveli for her wedding.

Precap - will Myrah see Paro's picture? Or will Rudra stop her?

The highlight of today's episode was Myrah meeting the Ranawats and sending every body in shock mode but it made Dhruv happy. Here are my thoughts.😊

Sad moment - It was heart breaking when Dhruv asked Rudra that "Why didn't Mumma recognize me?" "Did she forget me?Rudra's reply was heart breaking when he told Dhruv that his mom is dead, and dead people don't come back.😭

KCM-Koel moment- KCM was happy about the interview but promises to keep Shatabdi in check and make her stop before the next station comes.😊 KCM always wants to be a step ahead of Shatabdi. Guys, I wanted to say this yesterday but forgot. I think Shatabdi should open a beauty parlor for herself. She loves pedicure and manicure and is very conscious of herself and should open a parlor instead of competing with KCM in this achar business.😊

Myrah-chachu moment- Myrah tells her uncle that Rudra is rude and arrogant but she did mention that he did save her from an accident. Uncle is going to enquire more about him so Myrah will know everything about Rudra soon.😊

Moment of concern- Myra is hungry and is about to eat when she thinks of Dhruv. She gets the fb of Dhruv approaching her and wonders what condition he must have been in. Her concern was so strong that she decides to go to Ranawat mansion.😊 Why is the concern so strong guys?😊

Sweet moment- Loved how Koel asked KCM that I hope she doesn't forget her after becoming famous on TV. KCM will give her a box of chocolates but she needed one today after seeing Myrah.😛

Bursting bubble moment- Rudra knows that Dhruv is sad and so he plays a game and offers him both hands. Dhruv chooses left hand and Rudra was smart enough to put the same candy in both the hands. Rudra blows the bubble and challenges Dhruv to do it but Dhruv is in an another world altogether. I thought that it had to do with wishes when Rudra closed his hands and asked Dhruv to pick one hand.😊

Maithili-Dhruv moment- Maithili knows what works with Dhruv and decides to give his clothes to somebody else and I loved how Dhruv held on to her saree. Dhruv tells her that he is in a bad mood and asks if papa is mad at him.

Moment of substance- I loved what Maithili told Dhruv that his papa will never get mad at him because he promised to his mom. 😊 Dhruv asks "sacchi" and Maithili says "Mucchi".😛 Loved how she told him that his mom used to drive away the anger by "Attan, pattan".

Freaking moment- Myrah is asking for Ranawat house and KCM mistakes her for the Tv person. She asks Myrah if she is here to meet Mohini Ranawat and she says Rudra Pratap Ranawat. Has anyone seen KCM freak out so badly ? Never seen KCM so scared before and Bhoot is her response.😊 From today onwards, she will never look for a TV person.
BTW, KCM said Dhua Kumari so is that another hint towards Myrah being Paro?

Rehearsal moment- Did it surprise anyone when Shatabdi asked what is Koel going to be dressed up as?😲 Maithili has taken over the responsibility of both the kids. Loved how Koel acted as KCM and repeated those dialogues.😊 Loved how she told Sumer "Nikamma" and is hanging around his beendni all the time.

Dhruv's rehearsal- His part brought tears to my eyes when he tried to copy Rudra and said "Even if I am not in BSD, Mere Andar ka bahadur officer Zinda hai". He can give life for his country, but he loves his family too and even if he dies, he won't give them any takleef.😭 Rudra runs and hugs him and tells him not to talk about death. That word death scared Rudra so much and I thought he needed reassurance and that is why he hugged Dhruv. Dhruv did reassure hm that he was just acting. Thank you, Dhruv.😊

Shocking moment- KCM comes screaming Bhoot and everybody is surprised but not for long because Myrah is at the doorstep. Ranawats were scared geuinely today and everybody's expression said it all. How could that be possible? Are they seeing Paro once again?

Moment of Destiny- Myrah does walk in and said sorry if she has come in at the wrong time. She said that she should have called on phone but Mr. Rudra wouldn't have let her come in that case. It is just two days and she knew this part about Rudra.😊 She remembered the address and asked the people.

Mattering much moment- Myrah admitted that she is here to say sorry because of the misunderstanding and she doesn't want anybody getting hurt of her. Point to note that she does care about other people's feelings.😊 Rudra is in a hurry to send her away because her face is killing him from inside.

Crucial moment- Myrah walks up to Dhruv and says that she is here to get maafi from her cutie pie. She said "I am sorry, forgive me, a big sorry" and gives him a chocolate. Dhruv looks at Rudra to accept or not to accept.😊 Rudra doesn't like the intimacy and asks Myrah to leave but Myrah asks Rudra what is his problem?

Big-League moment- Myrah sits down and introduces herself as Myrah, shakes hands with Dhruv and says that we are friends, aren't you going to tell me why you came to meet me in the morning?😊 She invites him to her hotel any time. Koel says "Bye Mummy" and Myrah says "Bye" to Dhruv. Rudra cuts it up by saying that they are getting late for school. However, I do think that Dhruv will go to see her at the hotel with Rudra's permission later on.

Myrah-Maithili moment- Myrah talks to Danveer and loves the Haweli but she strikes a rapport with Maithili. She pays a big compliment to Maithili and does this remind you all of something?😊 Wasn't Paro Bai Sa close to Maithili?. Well, here we go. She asks Maithili to show her the Haweli because she is enamored by the Haweli.

Flashbacks were very well chosen today when Myrah came to the Ranawat Haweli.👏

Today, just one thing came to my mind after seeing the episode and that is destiny and I chose "Fate" as the acrostic for today.

F-Far-reaching(Why does Myrah feel so bad for Dhruv to the point of going to Haweli?)😊
A- Arresting (Why is Myra so attracted to the Haweli and wants to see it?)😊
T- Touching (She says sorry to Dhruv and wants to make friends with him)😊
E- Engaging (Myrah likes the Ranawats and develops an immediate rapport with Maithili)😛

Does this ring a bell with anybody? Why does apologizing to Dhruv matter so much to her or why does she hit it off with Maithili?😊

Precap- The big question is in everybody's mind. Is Myrah going to see Paro's picture tomorrow? If no, then we will have to wait for another day. If yes, then what is her reaction going to be?

It was an entertaining episode... I liked it... The first scene was again touching and wonderful.. Rudra telling his son bluntly that his mother is dead, that she will never be back... Seemed a little harsh.. But, was it?? It was only his concern and love for his son that made him do it.. He didn't want him to hold on to something that is not real... To not dream of something that he will never have... Because when he realized there was not thing to hold on to in the first place, that his dream was just that a silly dream... He will be shattered.. Rudra knows the pain, disappointment brings... He doesn't want it for his child.. I am happy to see Rudra speak the truth and also be very direct about it... It would definitely hurt his son, he knew that... But that didn't stop him...👍🏼

What are Mohini and Shatabdi doing with Koel?? I didn't like how these two are using her for their own silly reasons... And, one thing I realized is Koel is a very smart girl.. She knows how to play these two strong yet stupid women 😆...

Myrah who finally gives into his uncle's 'security, security' jaap agrees to go straight to the hotel.. But it just takes her a second to change her decision.. Why? Because she realized has to apologize for her earlier behavior... And off she goes to find the Ranawat haveli... Mohini, watching Myrah through the Dhua and calling her Dhua Kumari was nice touch... CV's we can hear you loud and clear 😛.. Hope it is not some trick of yours to make us like Myrah faster.. Or make watching her with Rudra easier... Her face was truly worth watching when she saw Myrah... And her running away shouting Bhoot, making everyone else including Myrah make a run for it was hilarious ... Poor Myrah, she had no clue as to who the bhoot was..😆

Rudra and Maithili trying to pacify Dhruv was such a lovely scene.. Did I see Rudra blowing the bubble with gum??? Awww! he looked so adorable.. He is such a loving father.. Maithili, really is born with motherly instincts... It is sad that she couldn't have a child of her own but happy that Dhruv and Koel fulfill that space in her life.. The way she pacifies him and explains him was beautiful.. And Dhruv, he is such a sweet kid... He first says that he is very angry at his father.. But just as Maithili tells him that Rudra looked sad... All his hurt and angry goes for a toss and he thinks only about his father in pain... ❤️

The fancy dress skit was very delightful to watch.. I just hope, Koel doesn't really turn out like her dadi... Rudra who was enjoying every bit of the skit. Becomes emotional the minute he hears the word death from his son. He can't... He just can't even imagine or speak of such a thing... He can't bare such words... The pain in his eyes and panic in his voice said it all 💔... Grabbing everyone's attention instantly, an almost petrified Mohini runs into the haveli... She walks over the sofa, rushing to her family, out of breath, jumbling with her words, confused and scared... And finally the whole family see Myrah... I liked how they showed us how everyone remembered Paro as they saw Myrah...Telling us again that Paro is not forgotten... That she is very much alive in their memories...

Rudra banna, you marching to her, readily accepting her apology and asking her to leave was all really nice.. But just one change... She is not here to apologize to you😉... Koel looked so cute when she tried to question Myrah... The shock of everyone was captured very well.. Dhruv looking at his father when Myrah offers him chocolate just shows how good a child he is... He will do nothing that he feels might hurt his father 😊.

It is Taj Mahal.. Myrah got that right... But it was not built but bought by Rudra for the safety of his life, his queen, his Paro ❤️... I understand that Myrah is a tourist and that she is rich... But that doesn't mean she can march into anyone's house. That to when it is clear that she was not welcome there.. What is she trying to do?? Oh forgot! I know. Finding her venue😛. Passport wala dialogue was funny... Myrah is really hard to handle.. She just stops at nothing😃...

Precap, it gave me the vibes of bhoot/reincarnation type story😆.. They are just building the suspense... But we know that she will not see the picture.. Rudra won't let her..

Thank you Diya for continuing to open this thread and Shweta, once again, beautiful collages! Tennessean and Praba, wonderful takes as usual. I'll respond to all of them later.

My take will be shorter than usual today...much shorter. Busy busy evening! *sigh* 😔

What a beautiful episode today! We got to see unforgettable and poignant moments between the members of the Ranawat parivaar. How cute was that fancy dress rehearsal? Those kids, man...they're fantastic in their roles! I've always dreamt that Dhruv will join the BSD when he's older following in his Pappa's footsteps. I saw that dream come true..err, just a younger version! My heart clenched when Rudra ran to Dhruv and told him not to talk about dying. Even though it's been 7 years, he clearly remembers Paro saying that she wouldn't regret dying because she had all the happiness in the world. We all know what happened next.

Mohini's expression when she see Myrah is PRICELESS! Bhoot! Hahahaha, I couldn't stop laughing! 😆 Ananya is a fantastic actress. Not only can she do the villain role, but the comedic one as well!

Myrah is now bonded with Dhruv. For some reason, she keeps coming back to him, keeps thinking about him. We know how dedicated and loving Paro was to Dhruv in that one month, maybe the part of Myrah that is Paro is finally emerging out? 🤔 I'm so confused about Myrah. She has her Paro moments that gets me all excited as to what's coming in the future. But then on the other hand, it's like she's truly seeing everything for the first time. I was expecting some kind of reaction after reading Rudra's full name...she's said it many times before as Paro with her name attached to the front. And after seeing the Haveli, I was expecting some sign of recognition. IF she has amnesia, seeing things that are familiar to her from her previous life (like the haveli, Rudra's full name, Maithili) should trigger some memories or a reaction. But yet...there's nothing. Maybe the CVs are waiting for the most opportune time for her memories to come rushing back? Maybe during her wedding to Rohit?

Precap - I doubt Myrah will see the picture of Paro. The CVs have slowed down the speed of the show exponentially. But, then again, who knows? It would be appealing to see her reaction!

I apologize for the short and concise Take...I'll make the one tomorrow much longer. Bholebaba-wala promise! 😉 I'll respond to the other Takes after I get back from work. It'll be late though. Sorry!

Hey diya thanks for the thread. Awesome take as usual. Agree with the point a kid is being used as pawn by mother and grandma. Not good. Loved the rudra dhruv bonding. Seems like Paro is not forgotten by anyone.

Highlight of the episode was Rudra and Dhruv bonding. Gosh they love each other so much. The only thing missing is Paro. A wife and a mother.Koel is a cutie. I love her loads

Basically episode starts with Rudra and Dhruv entering the haveli with flashbacks of the encounter with Myrah. Poor Rudra is sad seeing Paro's pic and felt bad for dhruv as well when he asks his dad why his mom did not remember him. How innoncent. Rudra found it so hard to say Paro is dead and dead people dont return. Felt bad for both son and father😭

Shatabtdi decides to score cos Mohini is leading and she misguides Mohini using cutie pie Koel about someone coming to interview Mohini. I thought Mohini was smarter but since Shatabdti is living with Mohini for so long she has got some skills as well. What do they sangat ka asar. Correct me if I am wrong.Koel was so cute in that white frock

So myrah does not want Rudra as security guard cos she has never met an rude, obnoxious person like him ever in her life. Man rudra never makes his first impressions good😆

So uncle gonna investigate on Rudra's background. Myrah gets reminded of Dhruv and decides to visit Ranawat Haveli.

Loved how rudra was trying to make Dhruv smile. Poor guy is already devastated with the recent happening and storm in his life with the entry of Myrah but he needs to cheer up his son. He has promised Paro to keep his son happy nah.

Maithili is such a darling. A mother to both Dhruv and Koel. She makes Dhruv understand that Rudra would never get mad at him cos he promised his mom and that his dad is sad. Dhruv loves his dad as much as Rudra cos he instantly reacts to what Maithli says and is upset he made his dad sad as well. Awwiw the famous Atan patan. Badly missed Paro. This made her son smile as well.

So mohini comes face to face with Myrah and decides she has seen a ghost. Mohini's expressions were classic and poor Myrah is aghast as well. She has been getting shock after shock

The kids play was very nice. Koel is really Mohini version 2. And loved how Dhruv made the entry with the BSD uniform and his moonch. This made Rudra and us also sad and reminisce memories. Badly missing Rudra in his BSD uniform. The poingant moment was when Rudra did not like Dhruv mention death cos Rudra has faced the worst by losing the most precious thing in the world to him and he does not want to lose Dhruv as well. Loved the hug. Was so emotional for me and Dhruv is eveything to Rudra. 😭

So myrah enters and all ranwats shocked. Loved all the FB's of Paro. Man she is missed loads. Rudra's expression was superb. Mixture of pain, anguish, shock. He asks her to leave cos he still cant fathom a person just looking like his Paro. She wants to apologies and loved the part where she gives him back saying she does not want his apology but cutie pie Dhruv's. She feels for Dhruv. Some unkown feeling. He is happy seeing her. His hopes are rekindled. Maithili jumps in and prevents Koel from blurting the truth. Her reaction to Myrah was not apt for me. Dunno why.

So Myrah is interested in seeing the haveli and requests so. Poor Rudra. This guy's wounds are resurfacing aain which were buried deep down ever since Paro died. Feel so bad for him.

Loved how Myrah wanted Rudra's passport and wanted to check if he was Indian cos indians treat their visitors like god and he is the exact opposite. She does not know why Rudra is like this. Would love to see her reaction when she gets to know about Paro ( about herself in other words).

I presume she wont see Paro's pic as per the precap cos Rudra wont allow it. Wonder for how long this game will go on.

Loved how Myrah asked Danveer if he built the palace for his Mumtaj. Ha ha mohinis epxression at that point was also epic. Kakusa was stunned to reply

For me Rudra dhruv's bonding was the highlight

Great post Diya. Rudra and Maithali definitely share a deep bond with Dhruv. They'll do anything to cheer him up and they can't stay angry with for long as he is Paro's precious child. I loved Mohini's reaction to seeing Myrah, she's terrified beyond her wits. It's nice to see the family still remember Paro. Myra's interaction with the kids, especially Dhruv was nice. They're going to share a good bond soon.
