The wait gets longer - Parineeti and Saif

Parineeti Chopra's dream of working with Saif Ali Khan " who she is a big fan of " came true recently when the latter's business partner Dinesh Vijan signed her for his directorial venture. In the film, which is a romantic drama, she will be playing the lead opposite Saif. But we've now heard that Parineeti will have to wait for the film to go on the floors because, apparently, Saif is busy with other projects.

A source says, "It was an internal decision of the production house to put the movie on the back burner. Saif has a packed schedule in the coming months. He has two upcoming projects " Kabir Khan's film starring Katrina Kaif, and Reema Kagti's next with Kangana Ranaut." However, a close friend of Saif tells us that the banner has postponed the project because it already has a release this year. "The Saif-Ileana D'Cruz-starrer is hitting theatres in December. Work is also underway on another project,which is helmed by Homi Adajania."
